  1. First boat was a 12 foot v-hull that I bought at Montgomery Wards when I was 11. Mowed lawns all summer to pay for it. Dad would put in the back of the van we had and drop me off at the lake, river, creek or wherever I wanted to fish. Had a MinnKota trolling motor,3 rods and a life vest. When it started to get dark Dad would show up and load up and go home and eat dinner. That started my love of being on the water that has never faded but has gotten stronger as I get older. My wife says I'm more at home on the water than dry land. She's right.

  6. Gentry is a waste of time. Jackson is a good lake but it is out in the middle of nowhere and like SC53 said you will worry about your stuff. For me I would go to Toho or Cypress. Less traffic than Kissimmee. Also don't count out East Lake Toho. The residential canals fish great this time of year. Good luck. I"ll be at Headwaters.....
  7. Manns Razorback Pig...shallow runner....best crankbait I ever used.
  8. # 1 bait Gambler Burner Worm. 2nd place goes to Zoom SS U tail 6" both T rigged ....they accounted for 90% of my catches of the year. To say I use worms a lot is an understatement.
  9. this is my frog reel, an Ambassadeur 4500c3. it is a winch. little heavier than some other reels but it balances well with the rod I have it on.
