So I ended up buying the hook remover (the one from Bass Pro) and man what a difference. A whole easier to remove the hook. I know that there are manual methods. But for this newbie it did the trick. Thanks all for the help with this.

I have never been there but it's about 5 miles from my office. Maybe I'll go there during lunch, and I can give you a report.

I like the price tag on that.

It seems like an eternity every time I catch a fish that I try to remove the stinking thing out. Any recommendations on a tool to remove the hooks? Maybe my technique could be improved. Lol

Howdy, recently moved to Florida from Arizona and discovered the fun of bass fishing. Hoping to get a boat in a year or two but quite happy fishing from the shore with my boys as I pretend to know what I am doing. Haha.
