  1. Swim jigs Shakey head with 4" magnum finesse worm Bladed jig Square bill cranks SCROUNGER! flat out catches fish!
  2. This is why this site is excellent. The thread below is worth its weight in gold. I suggest you bookmark this thread! http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/72766-a-rare-insight-into-crankbait-fishing/
  3. Oh, and this year I'm focusing on larger swim baits. Hudds, Mattlures U2, and Spooltek 6" fatty.
  4. Leave everything else at home. Take various sizes and shapes. 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2. As far as shapes, it depends on the type of structure or cover you're fishing. Rocks-football heads. Standing timber or lay downs-brush or arky head. Grass-swim jig. Siebert outdoors carries a grass jig that I double as a swim jig sometimes. Give a few more examples on the types of water you'll be fishing. Also cover and structure.
  5. I remember this story. How in the hell is it the states fault? Maybe she should sue her friend. Or "LIGHTBULB" don't sue because she is an idiot for going over there knowing that the chimp wasn't to friendly.
  6. Your answer is in red. I have used the Curado's. I have a Curado "I" on the way. I have not used a Tatula but I have some Diawa reels. They are great. Their pricing is pretty comparable. If I were you I'd buy one of each and give it a go. You can sell one or the other pretty quickly on here or fleabay. Both of these companies make an excellent product IMO.
  7. I wouldn't get involved. I'd call 911 and wait on the cops. As far as never hitting a girl or woman. I never have had to hit a lady but I have threatened. When working security for concerts or clubs it can be warranted. I would always say if you put yourself in the place of a man, then expect to be treated as one. I also told them if I have to put the cuffs on you, you are going to jail. End of story. I was thankful I never had to result to that kind of behavior. But to make a blanket statement like "She deserved it." is ludicrous!
  8. I have a club tournament there tomorrow. I am unable to fish it, but I'll let you know the results of the tournament
  9. Congrats! Bladed jigs are just another tool in the box. I use them in all phases of the spawn as well as a spinnerbait.
  10. And that is where all his JJ's goes!
  11. Disappointing to see such a small can of Pringles. SMH
  12. Why do birds suddenly appear every time you are near? Just like me they long to be close to you!
  13. I was a little disappointed in not seeing him as well. I would have much rather seen the top 5 guys instead of watching them weigh the fish a 3rd time.
  14. Our club is BASS affiliated. A lot of guys fish our club that have clubs in their hometowns. Some drive 45 minutes to the meeting. That guy sounds like a clown.
  15. Well, it looks like I am back to the Cardiff. Until. . . . . . . .I can afford the Calcutta D anyways!
  16. An excellent suggestion!
  17. Maybe this will help. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/132460-co-angler-tackle-bag-size/
  18. Make it stop! Your killing me! (as I'm rocking back and forth with my hands over my ears) I seriously can't wait!
  19. I wish I could afford a "D" 200 to 250 is my limit.
  20. I was kicking around getting a Cardiff for my swimbait rod. Now I'm thinking a 200B. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance! Darin
  21. Is it a beaver style bait?
  22. I went out yesterday. Winds were out to the south, blowing 20 to 30 mph. I used a jerkbait, swim jig, and a spinnerbait. I hauled a bunch of water! I fished for 3 hours from 11:30 to about 2:30. Water temp was unknown. Other than that it was a beautiful day to fish. NO complaints here! LOL
  23. Afternoon shift is messing with my head man! I hate working that shift!
  24. I would go with a BPS cranking stick and a BPS pro qualifier. 6'6" or 7' for the rod and a 6:4:1 gear ratio for the reel. $140 before shipping or taxes. They both are on sale thru this Sunday, May 16th.
