  1. I'm moving down to St George in May and I'm just looking for people to fish with. I don't have a boat so i beat the shoreline, an invite on a boat would be nice but I'm fine with walking. Hit me up if anyone wants to get out and fish.
  2. Jordanelle in June on the rock cliffs side is when they spawn. Throwing a rainbow colored jerkbait (sportsmans warehouse has a strike king KVD jerkbait that is my go to lure) is the best way to have a good time last year I caught a double, that was awesome. Deer creek is good with soft plastics but you're only going to catch dinks
  3. Any body going to the Bassmaster Classic down in Tulsa? My wife and I are moving back to Utah the beginning of March and for our one last mid-west adventure my parents are flying in and we are going to enjoy the launches, competition, and the expo. Plus my birthday is on Feb 20th so its going to be the ultimate birthday present.Tomorrow, the wife and I are going to explore the edges on nearby lakes and see what kind of lures we can find. Last year I was able to find about 10 crankbaits, hopefully I can make up for all those I lost last year.
  4. Ya that's me with the Veterans tags. Went to Gardner after work today to relieve some stress and the bite was on!! I was using a shad colored jerk bait for a little bit and caught a couple little guys then switched to a bone colored spook and it was GAME ON!!! They were hitting it so hard it would launch into the air even with the little guys, then a "big" girl ("big" for Gardner standards) slammed it and I about lost my gear, she was about 4lbs sadly I had no camera and my smart phone is apparently brain dead so no pics. Love the topwater action.
  5. The wiper are killing it at Lake Olathe on shad colored swimbaits, lipless cranks, and pretty much anything else shad colored, on the south side just look for the shad boiling up on the top. My wife pulled this in on 8# line on a prespooled bps $20 spinning set up. It took her forever the sound of the drag was music to my ears haha, my little dog in the pic request that he gets to lick all fish before i throw them back.

Doing her best Bill Dance, she tries kissing all the fish and says she's Bill Dance I think she's just crazy and thats her excuse.
  8. Sounds good. I usually fish where all the slop is, there is a dock on public land that i usually go to that provides awesome topwater and decent soft plastic action but the last 2 months all the fish moved out of the area and the slop became super thick and I haven't had a single bite. I don't have a boat so I don't travel to the big lakes I just stick to the little lakes and walk the banks. Tomorrow is my day off so hopefully I can get a good days fishing in before the cold really sets in.

  11. Where were you fishing at Gardner I believe you said from the shore? Was it at the turn out on the south east side facing the mossy hydrilla covered section? I'm new to this forum and have been living in Kansas for just over a year now and would appreciate any advice on spots and gear to use, I'm from Utah and just started bass fishing and baitcasting last year so i'm quite new.
