  1. Are they using the old MLF boats or do they provide their own?
  2. Let me give a quick update.. I could manual shift it into gear, then I hooked it back up and used the control box and the gear box went into gear and the prop turned. Turns out there is gear lube leaking out my prop and it is a milky white. Looks like a broken seal
  3. I took the cowling off and when I use the control box, it shifts FnR okay. I mistyped and meant the shift rod and not the cable.
  4. Hello everyone. I recently went out to the lake and there were some rougher waves. As I got to the boat ramp, I turned my engine off for a second. When I turned it back on, the engine would not shift into forward. Neutral would work and Reverse. Sometimes I am stuck in reverse (I believe if I shifted it into forward, it acted as neutral occasionally). My control box and control cable seem to work fine which leads me to believe that it is in the lower unit. Can it be the shift cable going to the lower unit is knocked out of place from some waves? It has been a good amount of time since I switched up gear lube oil and I plan on switching that out. Any ideas where else to look? My motor is a 95 Mariner 3.0 EFI 225 HP
  5. It depends. I fish for Arizona State’s bass team and we just had an FLW qualifier on the California Delta. I own a 21 foot boat with a 225 but circumstances lead us to bring my partners 16 foot ranger with a 60 hp. Mine gets close to 70 his, we topped out at 30. During the 7 hour tournament, 2 hours were spent behind the wheel. The place is huge and it takes time to get places. With a faster boat, we would have had more time to fish. Speed is just a tool to make things more efficient
  6. 1. Be different, vary your retrieve and what baits you are using 2. Fish where the big ones are: location location location 3. Think like a big bass
  7. I completely neglected getting on bass resource for a while, worst mistake of my life, but the boat has been doing well, had to replace the trolling motor. (I "accidentally" left it in the water while running needed replacing) Been catching some good fish out of it, thanks guys! Tight Lines!
  8. I hope that it is not a flux capacitor My initial thoughts were that it was something to do with the flasher. Since the flasher didn't work that is why the piece falling out never affected anything. Thanks guys!
  9. A couple of trips ago this piece fell off the bottom on the console. I have no clue what it does but it hasn't affected anything at all. All the gauges are working (minus the speedometer, just a crimped tube). I was thinking it was a sensor alarm or the in-dash flasher that never works. The boat is a 1995 ProCraft Dual Pro 210 Tournament Special Anniversary Edition if that is any help. Thanks in advance!

    Fishin!

  11. I use 4.5 inch and 6 inch roboworms or some 4 inch finesse worms I pour myself
  12. Went out fishing for the first time with the new boat. Wasn't out there long, my dad got a nasty headache and we decided to head home. Somewhere between 2.5 and 3 hours on the water. Started out fishing the grass edges on Saguaro lake in Arizona, fished with a lipless crankbait and a dropshot. No bites, we decided to head up the river and just looked around and I saw a cliff edge that looked interesting. It had several cuts and irregularities in it, so I decided to try it out with a dropshot. First cast I hooked into a solid fish! Got it to the boat and it jumped, out came the hook. It was a nice 4 pound fish. I casted back in, nothing. We moved down river and my dropshot got harassed by a bunch of bluegill. After about a half hour, me and my dad decided to head back to that spot. On my graph I could see arches everywhere along this cliff wall. I casted into a cut, and my dad says to me, "This headache is getting bad, lets head back". I put down my rod and started to put the loose tackle away and put up the trolling motor. I picked up my rod and started to reel back my dropshot. The rod loaded up and I had a fish! After a long fight I pulled this fish up, nothing special about 2-2.5 pounds just shy of 16.5 inches. This little sucker put up one heck of a fight for his size. I hope this is a sign of some prosperous fishing in the future with this boat (and not to many more lost fish)
  13. How deep was the fish caught? 2 foot Did the lure contain rattles or have hinges? No, spro frog Was the lure a natural color (brown, green) or was it an unnatural color (chartreuse, orange)? Green with an orange underbelly If possible, what moon phase was your PB caught during? Look up the phase on 8/8/09
  14. Thanks man! It will be fun fishing tournaments in my own boat. Still plan on fishing as a co sometimes, you can learn so much.
  15. The carpet is a bit.. Interesting but it is brand new and I won't argue with that! It will probably get changed eventually. Thanks! I plan on catching a ton of fish
