  1. Need a price point to start and either a 7' m fast or 7' mh fast. But if we're throwing names out there St Croix has some awesome rods. And the St Croix mojo bass spinnerbait stick works well for that sort of thing as it's the action and it's only 110 bucks. Now if you have a higher price point the St Croix LTB is the way to go in that action Tight lines Andrew
  2. Stumbled and fell going from boat to dock and snapped the tip off of two st Croix's an rage and a mojo. Opened the rear compartment of the boat to try and jump the guys next to use and didn't realize the Rod was there St croix rage my Dropshot Rod the week before a tourney I was going to Dropshot in. Didn't go too well lol Edit-a friend and I decided to see what abuse an ugly stick could really take a couple years back and ran it over with his car multiple times smacked it against a street sign about ten times for good measure and then proceeded to touch the tip to the handle. Cut all the guides off minus the top and bottom one and then went catfishing with it the next day the Rod is still in use as a trophy lol Tight lines Andrew
  3. Sunline sx1 in light pound test not so sure of what I have currently and 8# power pro in red Tight lines Andrew
  4. When you use live bait you are rarely going to catch just one species. It's just depends on what was there Tight lines Andrew
  5. I BEAT THE BAIT MONKEY today the road to recovery is in sight haha (still haven't set foot on it though). Was at the richmond expo today and boy did it tempt me walked out of there with a couple of spoons I needed to restock on haha. That team Lew's light looked so good lol Tight lines Andrew
  6. Sounds good to me we should still be there as we want to see John Hutchins seminar at 3:30
  7. Swimbaits/weighted flukes Tight lines Andrew
  8. I shall second the wooly bugger for a fly and a Dropshot dragged along horrible slow until you feel structure then pause and eat a sandwich between moving it again lol. I've caught them on a small jig and pig and hair jigs fished real slow. Lipless baits have worked good in the past with a nice slow retrieve. Some people like flat sided cranks. Good luck Tight lines Andrew
  9. Good deal we will be there most of the day from about ten o clock on Any ideas?
  10. Really? Anyway my savage gear line through trout looks good enough to filet and grill lol Tight lines Andrew
  11. Who is going to be down there on saturday? Everythingthatswims and I will be going down together. Would love to be able to put a face to a name I plan on seeing the seminar by one of our own Bobby of megastrike on spinnerbaits. Hope to see you guys there Tight lines Andrew
  12. And someone will probably jump on my back for saying this, but I prefer it to my shimanos (please don't kill me) tight lines Andrew
  13. ABU GARCIA REVO SX 20 mine is the 30 size for shaky heading that reel is amazing and it is black and red to match the rod PM me for more in depth tight lines Andrew
  14. Whatever rod I can't seem to live without lol. Although I just started a new technique. SWIMBAITING. I have a feeling I'm going to become a junkie lol Tight lines Andrew
  15. MLF, Zona's and whatever else seems to pop up on the outdoor channel lol tight lines Andrew
  16. I know I have had dreams about fishing before and I am pretty sure I've set the hook a few times lol. I did have a dream one time that when I was fishing strictly for walleye I kept hooking into everything but walleye. Largemouth, small mouth, sucker, giant bream, and a goby lol. The ironic thing is that is exactly the case. I still haven't caught a walleye after 4 trips fishing for them lol. I used to not be able to sleep before tournaments but now typically sleep well the night before unless I'm away from home then I don't sleep haha tight lines Andrew
  17. I love to use roboworms basically any straight tail worm seems to work well. Wacky rigged senkos work, rage craws, basically any bait you put on a dropshot has the potential to work Tight lines Andrew
  18. It's not nice to tell lies lol that TD throw though made my night Tight lines Andrew
  19. Just becuase you have a "boaters license doesn't necessarily mean you are capable in handling said boat. There are a lot of things to keep,in mind in regards to insurance, water pressure, depth, speed, trim and tons of other things. It's a huge responsibility. It's much different than driving a car. And not to mention the other people on the water. Some of them are the biggest hazards to everybody on the lake lol. Tight lines Andrew
  20. The rod can only be used to fish for walleye otherwise the built in sensors will know and the Rod will just break. In other words nothing whatsoever it's just a name lol Tight lines Andrew
  21. I had some clear senkos that I purposely threw a reddish bait in with and it turned them a really cool color that I like. It's really got that wounded baitfish look to it with splotches of red in places Tight lines Andrew
  22. To each their own and leave it at that. Tight lines Andrew
  23. That's a bold statement saying they are the same Tight lines Andrew
  24. 40# braid or 40# braid with a leader depends on Rod and situation I am in. Either way there is always braid. Tight lines Andrew
