    i would say that, that is a little light a lot of swimbait guys use mono so you may want to look into that. i use copoly and like it tight lines Andrew

    Is the noise coming from the reel or the rods? Mono is generally on the quieter side of rods compared to braid

    I would look and see if there is something between the spool and the side plate that may have been picked up when being casted in the yard if you don't see anything that could do it I would contact Abu Garcia/pure fishing and they will take care of you Tight lines Andrew

    I have been extremely impressed with my Abu revo sx 30 it's extremely smooth and sturdy. It doesn't have any play in it than I can tell and prefer it to the shimanos I have. I'm probably going to get shot for that statement lol Tight Lines Andrew

    The St Croix mojo bass swimbait stick is a good budget swimbait stick also. I love mine and believe that it will be able to handle baits much larger than what it's rated for

    My senko rod is a 6'8 m xfast and I have no problem setting the hook I would check the sharpness of the hook
