  1. Still messing with Contrast, Enhance, and Sensitivity... Some beds I'm assuming on the right hand side. School of fish. Probably Crappie, but not sure since there isn't any cover near by. This lake does home Saugeye too.
  2. McPherson SFL, PB from that lake to date. 21.5" and 5lb6oz. Barely slurped a black buzzbait down.
  3. IMO, you should reconsider a SOT. I fished all year in my Pescador 12 (basically a Tarpon 120). Ive NEVER had a water moccasin even come remotely near me while fishing. But I have came upon snakes myself by not paying attention to my surroundings. Remember, leave them alone and they will leave you alone. Youll also have a paddle, or a stake out stick you can use to ward them off. Cold water kayak fishing is more about how you prepare rather than what type of kayak. Layers, noncotton, breathable waters, base layer. In the event that you do "turtle" in cold water, you would have a better chance of re-entry on a SOT than a SINK. Not to mention the stability factor of a SOT over a SINK. You should really try before you buy. I purchase a Old Town Vapor 10 SINK starting out. Cheap, dry, and it got me on the water. 3 months later, I bought a SOT Pescador 12. The freedom of the SOT was priceless.

  14. Was the bite on??
  15. My thoughts isnt constant tension on the springs or straps that might wear. Its the constant tension and pressure on the transom, eyebolts on transom.
  16. You got one post up shots!
  17. Thanks Wayne. Im gonna record a nice chunk and play around with settings and such.
  18. All this talk about dumping the boat... I ONLY loosen the straps when its in the garage. Its my routine to cinch everything back down before I hook up. Thats what the original poster was referring to, I believe. Some people do like to just hook up and go. I wouldnt expect those people to loosen their straps.
  19. They were smacking the tar out of that baby brush hog.
  20. I loosen the winch strap and the transom ties when its parked. Let my motormate hang and trim down.
  21. I had a Wildy Commander 120 that I loved. Wish I still had it!
  22. El Dorado Lake. Updated to 6.740 to see if there was any benefit in imaging. Not the clearest water in the world. 18" - 20" visability. Still trying to fine tune.
  23. Still tuning my HB, but I got some shots of the trees at El Dorado. 30FOW, and some had 20-30 more foot out if the water
  24. Fished El Dorado yesterday. I got a couple, but he seemed to have worked a pattern out. Light CRig dragging baby brush hog on beds.. thats right. Smallies sitting on beds. Its starting fellows!!! Water temps 58-62
