  1. 1. Perch. 2. Wild rainbow trout.
  2. I am coming up to MN next summer, and likewise will not have a boat, I will be staying in the Brooklyn Park/Hennepin County area. If anyone could help me too please, much appreciated.
  3. One of the bigger bass I've seen!
  4. I've always used snaps for all my hard baits.
  5. If using corn berleying/chumming the area first with corn kernels helps, but not sure of the regs in your part of the USA. But yes a very lightlyweighted slip sinker rig is what I use, even unweighted.
  6. I prefer Spiderwire. I just got too many cast tangles with Power Pro.
  7. Welcome mate!
  8. That is good news, because I am just about to pick one up. And on this topic, the Shimano Sienna has performed very well for me.
  9. Lovely fish! Congratulations mate!
  10. I have never seen a brown trout with such an orange belly, terrific fish.
  11. What do you use to target them in that murky water?
  12. Can anyone help me out with this one? How do you dissassemble a Daiwa Aird spinning reel to lubricate/service? As mine has been getting a bit noisy of late.
  13. I always use a leader when fishing with braid. Try the Albright or Uni knot to join leader to braid. That is what I use.
  14. Just saying I decided on the Laguna, I also picked up a Cabela's Tourney Trail splitgrip 2 piece, 7ft MH casting rod too.
  15. Congratulations!
  16. Welcome aboard Mike!
  17. I for one am very intrigued. I definitely will get me some.
  18. Interesting, but tbh, I am a little dissapointed...I was expecting something more radical...but I am definitely going to get myself some of these. And on the other subject of discussion, I haven't broken a Rapala lip.
  19. A Berkely double-tailed 3" grub usually.
  20. Beautiful fish, beautiful stream.
  21. Lovely trout mate!
  22. A cheapy Shakespeare baitcaster. Ditched it after like 2 sessions.
  23. I do as well. I usually use Maxima.
  24. I only use it on soft plastics with way better catch rates than without. Never had much of a success on hardbaits though.
