I have both. If the Curado is an "E" series get it. The only thing I like about the Patriarch is how smooth it retrieves. It doesn't cast as far as the old Presidents imo. However, the Curado has light spool that helps casting light lures. It's pretty dependable. I guess I'm turning into a Shimanoite myself. I bought 3 Citica 200E's on clearance. It's just a good bass reel.

Hi everyone! I love this website. I love chasing smallies in the Looking Glass and Grand rivers around here. I have a small jon boat and a kayak. Lately, I've been using the kayak because the water levels have been so low. I'm getting a lot of good info from this site. I'm glad I joined.

I've had good luck with a Bomber 6A Root/Chart and a War Eagle finesse spinnerbait in mouse. I replace the blades with regular willows.
