  1. Try 4-10lb berkley nanofil. Its a fused line, its as strong as regular braid and its completely clear.
  2. Are you teamrippinlipzz on youtube?
  3. I tie on a 3/4 oz. saltwater egg sinker. I got it for $1 at dicks and I just tie my line to the eye and practice my flipping and pitching. I don't really have to practice regular casting, its easy enough that I can pick my rod up after the few winter months and cast well.
  4. I like the Daiwa DB minnow. Great quality for $6, it dives down to 3 feet and suspends perfectly with the nose down. Give one a try.
  5. You guys use massive trailers. O.O I'm using rage chunks on my jigs.
  6. Toss a small lizard to visible cover. Ex. Zoom 4" lizard Small crank, it will bring the fish out of hiding, and if they don't bite it you can toss them the lizard. small shaky head: ex. 4-5" worm on an 1/8 oz head. Inline spinner
  7. ikr. What I find the coolest is that you can reel it slow and fast with a weightless hook without having it roll over. Sick of having to put a 1/4 oz weighted hook on my skinny dip pers and having to reel them fast. I also think the 4.8" hammer shad will be killer as a weightless jerkbait. All those segments.....
  8. I sent power team lures a fan email saying how much I love their lures, and that I couldn't wait for their new swimbait to come out. The reply? Katie says that the swimbait will be out in 6-8 weeks, and that a 7" Finicky Tickler and 4.8" JP Hammer Shad will be out soon as well. I can't wait!
  9. yeah. I just did some research and there appears to be largemouth, some smallmouth, bluegill, crappie, and some channel cats. I'll have to take the canoe out once the weather warms up in february.
  10. Hey guys are there smallmouth in Goose Creek? I'm dying to bust some brownbacks on my new PTL Craw D'oeurves.
  11. Welcome! Good to see another ashburn guy. Pm me for some good spots.
  12. When I go on my bi-monthly canoe trip on the susquehanna river I absolutely slaughter them on a 3.5" Power Team Lures Craw D'oeurve. I use a 1/4 oz. Stand-up shaky head.
  13. I have the matching boss intruder punch weights and skirts and the skirt is really, really hard to pull off. There's no way it will come off without you wanting it to.
  14. 1/2 oz flipping jig. Heavy enough to punch through some weeds, but light enough to swim. Put a matching grub or a small creature bait such as a baby brush hog on it.
  15. Senko. It will pretty much always catch fish.
  16. no wonder i couldnt get any bites there. there's hardly any fish left! i had no idea that had happened. hopefully the ecosystem will recover so we can fish it again.
  17. thanks for this awesome info. i copy pasted it onto a paper thats going in my wallet as i type this.
  18. i use the Boss ones. not an issue yet and they have more colors than paycheck.
  19. Nice fish! The big one is a pig! Wish I had bass that big in the drainage ponds around here!
  20. Oh now I regret spending all my christmas money on a massive TW order.
  21. Dirty Jigs, Seibert Outdoors, and Northstar Jigs. For plastics check out Rage Tail, Berkley Havoc, Power Team Lures, Reaction Innovations, and Zoom always works. Cranks, probably Strike King, Spro, 6th Sense, Koppers Livetarget, and Lucky Craft.
  22. wow, thanks for all the info. I'll definitely think about starting to beg to go to one .
  23. Just don't leave stuff in the sun in hot weather and it won't melt. Another note. Do not mix Elaztech plastics with other brands, they will melt. They also melt easily in the sun.
  24. Check out the mac's tackle RJ jig. It has a normal jig skirt, but it has a screwlock instead of a weedguard. You texas rig the soft plastic. Way better hookups.
  25. Only one I would go to would be Icast.
