  1. fish size or bait size? If its the latter, I got both the 3" and 4" models.
  2. If it really bothers you that much that you have to squeeze it every few casts, seal the part where the hooks come out and the nose with goop glue. Its flexible. Drill a hole in the top of the frog. Problem solved. Or just get a livetarget.
  3. I don't have any Owner EWG's. If it has two little indentations and the point is a slight diamond shape then its a cutting point.
  4. the cutting point penetrates very easily, but the problem with that on a round bend hook is that it tears a hole and the bass can throw your jig. Owner recogized that and designed a hook that would not fly out when the bass headshakes.
  5. I love a good thin crust margherita.
  6. I have some of these coming from TW along with other winter tackle because the fish have been just nipping my 6" straight tails lately and not hooking up. Do any of you guys use these? Opinions?
  7. straight mono. P-Line OG (PF) or CXX, 25 or 30lb. You'll cast off baits on braid, especially 50lb. If you do use braid, use 65 or 80lb straight to the bait for topwater swimbaits or with a 25lb fluoro leader for sinking baits like hudds. Tie a crazy alberto knot to join the leader to the braid.
  8. I don't always talk to people with swag, but when I do, I order a large fries.
  9. I catch fish when part of the ponds are iced over. Just dress accordingly and fish reaaaaaaalllly slow. Dropshots, shaky heads, and jerkbaits. I wear the following when its 20 degrees outside. Long underwear Compression shorts Pajamas Jeans Two pairs of socks Waterproof boots (very warm) A t-shirt A sweatshirt A heavy coat Thin fingertipless neoprene gloves Heavy gloves Handwarmers in the coat pockets I usually don't wear the heavy gloves while fishing, only when my hands get numb. I stick other handwarmers in the neoprene gloves on the back of my hands under them.
  10. They just do that sometimes. Caught a bass last summer on a wakebait that just came to the surface and bodysurfed with no fight at all.
  11. oops. Forgot you had to be a member to see stuff.
  12. Google MANDINGO 300 if you dare ;)
  13. Thanks guys! Especially you wayne.
  14. Smart people do!
  15. Finally stuck my first decent swimbait fish in months! The Gan Craft Jointed Claw 178 did the trick here. Slow pulls along a reed line and she came out and smacked it! 3.8 on my friend's scale. Still looking for a second 5+ this year.
  16. Nice! Better than my 8" triple trout skunking this morning haha.
  17. Owners!
  18. Didn't mean to ruffle any feahers, geez. I was half joking. My dad and I call each other names all the time. I have never talked back to him in my life.
  19. We couldn't find it. We got a program that lets us know if any activity is done with the card. If it isn't us we press a button and the card gets locked out. I can't get a new number so I'm stuck with using this program he rest of my life because my dad is an imbecile.
  20. I agree 100%. Find a company that makes baits that you like and have confidence in after fishing with them. Become friends with the owner and ask after a while. You are very likely to get a a sponsorship or a spot on their pro staff. Note: pro staff means promotional, not professional.
  21. Chuck that 230 mag jointed claw you got long casts and slow pulls parallel to the bank.
  22. Thanks for the advice guys. I'll keep you posted.
  23. nope. my dad tore his car apart and didn't find it. Hoping its at the bank.
  24. I usually just talk. Hopefully I'll have some good luck and it'll turn out in my dad's car somewhere he couldn't check without moving the seat or other stuff. That's the only place it could disappear.
