  1. Good ideas...ima try sine jerks and brush hawgs tommorow. I went today and found 6 in 4 hours!!! Not good but better than the previous days. All caught deep in the brush about halfway back in a cove. They were liking the senkos today
  2. Thanks for the info! Ima give it a shot!!!
  3. I posted a thread a few days ago about cold fronts and got some really good info but I just can't seem to locate the fish. I've been 3 days in a row since the rain quit and conditions have stabilized with only a war mouth and an 8 incher both caught on senkos. Before the front I was having good to great success banging banks with everything from a squarebill to a dropshot. The temps have been high 40s in the morning to low 70s midday with a water temp of 65 on a 500 acre lake. I went to all my favorite spots and worked jigs slow for hours with nothing. I went to the coves and slowly worked a spinner and senkos with nothing. I even backed out to where my hummingbird 170 "located" fish suspended 4-9 feet in 18-23 foot of water and ran a medium diver with no results. The only thing better than being on the lake in these temps is being able to CATCH FISH! Have I gone to early since the front hit or should I take a different approach? I know I have rambled a bit but I am looking for any suggestions.....thanks -daniel

  6. I am new to the site and fairly new at understanding how bass "operate". I am stationed in chesapeake va and have had some great success on the local lakes...I am planning to join a club and start fishing tournaments! A cold front passed through last night and it got me thinking...how can i be really succesful when conditioins arent in my favor. Any tips and opinions on how to tackle bass during cold fronts and cold weather in general would be greatly appreciated! - Daniel
