  1. i couldve gone all year without changing a spool of 15 lb seaguar abrazx had i not gotten a nasty backlash, best line on the market IMO. i bought 4 more spools after that and it should only last longer with the kvd line and lure, im putting that on all my reels this year. also depends on the cover its used for, how often and other things. hope this helped!
  2. is anybody gonna be at the sports show the last week of march?
  3. i even had a hard time fishing a weightless senko on it. made accurately casting a pain and i couldnt feel any bites, the only fish i caught bit when i was reeling it in.
  4. i got the spinning one and it is not very sensitive and also has a VERY soft tip. ive been trying to get rid of it and wouldnt use it for anything else but crappie fishing. definitely check it out in person before hand and see if its what your looking for, theres little to no options for different rods in the vortex series.
  5. yes, i have, i was fishing for musky with suckers from shore and my pole flew into the water and at first i thought it was a fish but then i realized my rod was following the boat so i yelled and he heard me came back and after a few minutes of pulling up line i got my rod back ......with about 10 yards of line left.....
  6. and ive caught some nice ones in there, about 5 bass around 4-5 lbs this year
  7. so far ive tried frogs, crankbaits, spinnerbaits, jigs, wacky rigs, finesse worms, buzzbaits, tubes, carolina rig, and even a hard swimbait. what do you mean by "turnover"? and no i dont know the water temps right now, guessing its around the 40's
  8. hey everyone ive been struggling lately to catch quality fish, or for that matter any fish. my main pond is about 10 ft deep at max and about 7 ft avg. the weather here has been really cold (50's for the high and 30's for the low) the lake is fairly clear and the main forage base is bluegill. i have seen a lot of small bass up shallow but i cant figure out what to throw at em. what would you guys do? thanks!
  9. one time i was fishing a crankbait in the river and snagged a sock? then another time i was jigging for walleye, and snagged a 10 lb carp in the....anal hole
  10. hey everyone, im 15 live in minnesota and go bass fishing from a kayak. I would say im a pretty good and versatile fisherman. but im always looking to get better. thats why i joined this site. to expand my knowledge!
