Thanks for the welcome! Go to the dam when you got to Arcadia. Straight out east on 2nd and turn in at the Arcadia Park Office. I hike around the lake and carry my sling bag and and an "egg beater" (from wal-mart). I've noticed some drastic water level changes at Arcadia, too, within 24 hours. Points I had to walk around on one day, the next day I just walked across. I gotta get down to Hefner soon. Now, I'm just glad the weather is cooling off so I can get back down to Tishamingo. How do you get to Bell Cow? Do I just take the turnpike straight out?

Hello! I'm a male military spouse. Been here in Oklahoma for a year. Love OK, but the summer heat is a beast! Always looking for places to fish in the area. Gotta get it in before the Air Force moves us to the next base. Great community!

Rock, I don't know if they are draining the lake. I doubt it, though. But I think this year's drought has taken a huge toll on water levels all over (Arcadia, Tishamingo). Sorry to hear about your trip.
