    Neko Rig

I rig mine with a 2/0-3/0 EWG and rig it weedless. I think the whole idea of a NEKO rig is the nose weighted hook, rig your hook however you deem necessary. Brian.
  2. I haven't been on the water the last 2 days, first time off a day of fishing since May. I did shoot tons of worms, jig trailers and Chatterbait/Spinnerbait trailers though. I'll be back at it Monday, hopefully till Fall. Brian.
  3. Nice Lee. Keep it up and you won't have time to fish. Brian.
  4. Grande Bass Rattlesnake 4.75" in Vicks #20. Brian.
  5. What he said. Brian.
  6. The hooks on them are pure garbage also. I took one straight from the pack and four fish latter all the hook welds had separated. Brian
  7. Santee Cooper? Brian.
  8. My exact opinion. If you can feel it, he has it. Brian.

    Arrow Head Rod

    That's cool Lee. Brian.
  10. Call or e-mail War Eagle, contact info is on their site. Brian.
  11. The bearded fella is Tim "Musky" Hoover, owner of Backroom Baits. He's had that nickname since childhood and was guiding on the Susquehanna/Juniata just as long. Brian.
  12. My favorite is a Big Bear 6'3" MH/F w/a shorter handle. I like the short length for underhand casting under limbs, docks etc. and skipping. For open water, I use a 7'6" M/F. But use what you feel comfortable with. A friend uses a 7" MH/S, I've used it and hated it, but he catches fish from the surface to 30' on Spinnerbaits. Brian.
  13. Was lucky to day and got to fish the Susquehanna reopening with my buddy Mike. They close a section of the Susquehanna/Juniata and tributaries for the spawn and today was the reopening. Mike is a Fulltime Guide on the rivers and had a client cancel so he ask me and our friend Tim to go. We didn't get on the river till 11 but had an excellent day with 3 over 20" and a mess of them between 18"-20". I got lucky and took Big Fish honors with a 4-11 at 20.75". Pic is a Tim & Mike double and the 4-11. Great day on a fantastic fishery. Brian.
  14. I always hear people gripe about the bills breaking and being fragile. I feel if you're not breaking bills every once in a while, you ain't fishing it correctly. Love grinding bills off on Rip Rap, really makes them hunt bouncing rock to rock. Brian.
  15. Lure Craft has a 4.5" Beaver that looks to have a thinner tail profile. It's a Do-It mold, good price too. Brian.
  16. For spinnerbaits, OROCHI X4 F4-67x4. Brian.

    Ned Bullet

This is my new Ned Bullet Mold. Just in the experimental phase. I have some baits out being field tested and it looks good so far. The baits are 2.75" in length and a max. diameter of .450", 1/0 hook works well. Colors 1; PB&J 2; Baby Bass w/Silver, Gold Flake, White w/Silver Flake, Pearl Highlites 3; Brown Pumpkin w/Green Flake, Orange w/Red, Copper Flake 4; Baby Smallmouth w/Black, Gold, Copper Flake, White w/Silver Flake, Pearl Highlites 5; Green Brown Pumpkin w/Black, Purple, Copper Flake 6; Green Pumpkin w/Purple, Copper Flake 7; Junebug, w/Blue Flake 8; Kyles Purple Flash( Smoke w/Purple, Disco Purple Flake) Bait is named after our very own Kyle (Senko Lover) and is more translucent than the picture shows. I will take a pic in natural light tommorrow and add it, the picture is under LED Lighting. Brian.
  18. I have some shot in Kyle's Purple Flash. That color turned out to be a killer in a 4" Stick Bait in clear water. Brian.
  19. That's what a Ned Bullet is. I'm going to take some pics of them and I'll post them in the Tackle Making section. Brian.
  20. They work. Brian.
  21. 130 Whopper Plopper, SPRO Rat, Mini Slammer etc. Brian.
  22. Fished Mon. out of a boat that had 7 Complex CI4 2500HGS F6's on the deck. 3 of them were mine and the other 4 were my buddy Mike's who is a full time Guide. All 7 just replaced Complex BB's, monster nice Spinning Reel at $200. Brian.
  23. If the "few more important things" are food, car payment and rent, you don't need any reels. Brian.
