I had an identical situation. Get along with the guy perfectly, but he's like fishing with a 2yo. God forbid you catch more fish than him, he'll destroy the entire outing with his pouting and silent treatment. I haven't fished with him in 3 years and I don't miss it one bit. Brian.
My Daughter Megan came down to my fishing room one day while I was cleaning a reel. She sat down at the bench I was sitting at and just watched. A short time went by and I finally ask her " what's on your mind Honey". I wasn't expecting the reply I got. She said, "Dad, (insert boyfriends name here) raped me". I've never felt like such a huge failure in my entire life. It will be 7 years next April and I don't believe I'll ever get past it. So to all you saying "mind your own business", shame on you. I won't speak of it anymore. Brian.
BRING HOME. I have a College Graduate that is an assistant manager, a really good one. He has said several times, "If I knew I could make this amount of money, doing this, I'd have never went to College". Brian.
I own a Tavern/Restaurant. Work 30+ hours a week and you will easily BRING HOME, $1250+ per week. No HSD, GED, just be sociable, work hard and follow directions. Work in the A/C in the summer, heat in the winter. I can't get people to work. Brian.
Save a couple bucks with the Lancer Pro 7'2" Heavy and a high speed aluminum framed reel of your choice. I've beat on 2 of these rods rigged with 65lb. Braid for 2+ years now, zero complaints. Brian.
My Buds throw all their used plastics in ziplock bags and give them to me at the end of the season. I sort them by colors, remelt, and shoot into new baits.....no elaztech please.
I remove mine at the end of the day and return them to their packaging, as Team9nine stated. If torn up, into the remelt pile they go. Brian.
Looking for a 2nd. generation Shimano Cumara, burgundy blank, 6'8" MH/Fast or Ext. Fast casting rod. PM if you have one you could part with. Thanks, Brian.
I like a light med/hvy fast. I fish a bunch of rip rap/rock. I prefer a fast for the deflection and it seems to lessen the likelihood of getting hung. Brian.
I throw 4" w/a 1/0 weighted hook. The weight is dependent on the current I'm fishing. Fast current, heavier weight, slow current, lighter weight. Brian.
