I felt the same early on. Some lures like the Lucky Craft Sammy just perform great right out the box. So it's give and take. Then again I'll use RC STX over Ito 110s.
Just picked up a spool of this in 8#. Gonna try it out Saturday. Have had great success with Siege over past few years, have any of you used this? What should I expect?
I have one. I have used it for deep 25ft + football jigs, 1/2 oz swim jigs and flipping with 1oz bullet in front of a brush hog. Rod simply performs. I also swung a 5lber in the boat with it and the rod handled it like a boss!
I've been quite on the boards, busy shopping and working. Just wanted to take a minute to wish all my fellow anglers A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Haha a lot of jigs and a whole bag full of random stuff. Fact Mike threw in a t shirt and a sticker, once again shows Siebert jigs are the only jigs that I'll ever tie on.
Does anyone know if they stopped making this for good. A kid in my club got me using em flipping. Alternating with brush hogs. I messaged the company a few weeks ago but no response.
It's the LFT 4" craw tube
Saw you ordered the scorpion in the other thread. Congrats!
They shipped fast like 5 days or so. But they require signature so if your not home you may have to go to usps to pick it up with the tag they leave on your door.
3 baits that came highly recommended that I couldn't get a bite on:
Whopper Plopper
G2 shellcracker (wake bait not the soft plastic)
Dahlberg Frog
3 new baits I absolutely destroyed em on this year:
Rage Bug Structure bug
Rick Clunn jerkbaits the Ito copies (also got some nice brown trout on em)
Yamamoto square bill
Update: just got home with the 3000 and Call of Duty hahaha zero issues with this reel. When I showed the guy at the counter what was wrong with the 2500 the sounds were actually louder and a grinding developed. Strange.
Now to the 3000. This is a pretty d**n nice reel for the price point. I had a older Symetre years ago and it was just "a decent reel" this one however feels much sturdier and smoother. For what I paid this was a steal. Can't wait to get in the water and try this out.
Yup definitely a lemon, just played with it for a few. When I disengage the anti reverse switch. Zero problems.
Sucks but oh well I'll swap it out tomorrow.
I have the 7'2" ML spinning Rod. Love it! Use it for drop shot and wacky rigged senkos. I've caught 100s of fish on it. It's really a great line of Ross. If you can find one grab it!
