sup guys, few things I couldn't find searching and a few things I could find searching but want up to date feedback, so... Do any of the CoPoly FC coated lines sink? I keep hearing so many good things about PLine, and a few others, Yozuri which I didn't like at all. I want to try one out. I swear by Sufix Siege for Top water but pretty much every technique I do I'm most comfortable with FC so I want something that doesn't float. If said line doesn't exist that eliminates question 2. 2nd out of the FC coated lines that sink, if any, which seems to have the least stretch and most stretch. I would like a moderate amount of stretch for shallow cranks and minimal stretch for jig/worm presentations. Co poly out the way, now leads me to FC in general. Anyone of you who know me know I was die hard Seaguar then switched to Sunline. Well finally met a situation where the line failed and lost a tourney because of it lol before I say what happened and get trolled I will say this wouldn't have happened with 12# InvizX because a similar thing happened in the same exact spot on the same lay down dozens of times.... Caught a dink, re tied no signs of fray, then pitched the jig at a piece of wood I fish every time on same body of water. Bass grabbed it on the fall and swam in and under a second lay down beneath a branch. Estimating it a 4.5lber. I immediately set the hook and he pulled to the left against it as I turned his head the line instantly snapped I checked my line and about 4 ft of it was peeled and frayed to hell. You could troll me now and say user error lol now in my defense this same piece with 8# on a shakey head I've pulled a 5 from this spot and dozens of 2s and 3s with 12# Invizx. They're always in the same position on this wood in they're ambush quarters. This said snapped line was 12#Sniper. To my knowledge sniper is to Invizx what shooter is to Abrazx. Huge let down! We needed 2lbs to tie with 2nd and 3.1xx to place 1st so this guy would have been the kicker. >< Also same line last week was not holding up well for C Rigging. I caught fish and didn't have any break offs but I was constantly re tying. So Sniper guys what's the deal? Is this where I should be using 15-17# to be equivalent to InvizX? As I've said I've pulled fish from this cover and have had frayed line before but snapping like this and how easily it frays isn't what I've come to expect from so many users feedback. As far as FC what's everyone's go to for Abrasion resistance? Should I be using Sniper exclusive for more open water and outside weed lines and go shooter for cover and structure? Exactly! I'm bout to buy some workhorse reels, want to see where the improvement actually is. If I throw bocas in all of them on the spools and it's the better bearings on the spool in the curado then might as well grab the Ciica. Leaning to going with 4 Citicas for price purpose anyhow...

Which bearings are they? On. The x ship, spool, etc???

I was poking around shimano site and they haven't launched the schematics yet for the Citica. Which bearing or bearingS are the Sarb and arb? Can any of u that have purchased one post the schematic? Thanks

Spelling may be off lol well in deep water with smallies virtually non existent in that lake I was getting LMB in 30-40ft on shakey head with a finesse worm, couple on a drop shot with a shad style bait as well. Less than 20 ft C-Rig was the ticket with a lizard... I seriously pulled a fish off a bed in JULY!!!! Insane, it must of just got ready to spawn or just spawned its entire bottom and tail were red as hell. A game warden I spoke with said a year or so ago all the smallies came up to spawn during a warm week in April and then winter continued. They were in shallow water with no weeds for oxygen and didn't go back to deep water so a massive fish kill off happened. Any how great to see the feedback! Tight lines!

Sunline Structure FC anyone?

Braid I don't like for it at all. Have you tried a co-poly. A buddy recommended pline co poly.

That's heavy! but yeah all sorts of cover, deep structure, rock piles, weed lines etc.

Was just checking these out they have a standard and light wire. I see the angle pointing towards the eye is off from traditional hooks. You guys that use them, does the point stay in when you tex pose it, or do you find yourself adjusting rig frequently.

Hey guys, been trying out the c rig lately and have been having GREAT success. However I find myself re tying a lot. This week have been using 12lb Sniper main line and 12lb Super Nat Mono. Both Sunline. Some of you guys know I left Seaguar for Sunline as my all around lines. But I think I may be better off with a different Main line for abrasion purposes and maybe Sufix siege for leader... What do you guys suggest. Btw I'm using 3/4oz tungsten bullet, bead and barrel swivel on rig.

I have those too. However since I started using the J hooks I have yet to have a bad hookset. Pit Bosses seem to have the same durability as the Beavers. But I don't split apart the "paddle" on the Beavers, I keep it one main piece/flap.

Do u use a J hook or offset wide gap.

Hey guys when I'm close quarters flipping I've typically used Zoom brush hogs, recently tried the Yum version and they work just as good IMO. Tried RI Sweet Beavers for the first time the other day and using Trokar flipping hook, after bumping into weeds a few dozen times the point starts making its way through and I'm pulling up weeds. I use the rage bug for distance pitching and typical Texas rig scenarios. Are there any Beaver style baits that hold up better like the Zoom stuff you guys use?

Bought a pair of boat shoes, biggest mistake, I've had surgery on my left ankle a few years back and these have no support, so bad for rough water. However I started wearing a pair of Mizuno cross trainers and aching back and knees went away. Just wouldnt recommend soaking them, heavy rain or getting in water loading unloading boat.

right now fish are super finicky up here and from what I've heard most northern states. Probably a good time to focus on smallmouth in deeper areas.

Definitely sexy with the matte paint but IMO owning both Tat and Type R, nothing with the name Tatula is worth over $99.99 and that's pushing it.
