I own both reels and personally the DC isn't that special to me. Aside from being able to cast into the wind pretty well i see no other benefit. If you have a well trained thumb then the regular Metanium will be fine.
haha i know but just stating my opinion. i never said the dx is more sensitive because obviously the nrx is more sensitive but i like the feel of the dx rods more is what i meant.
I can't speak for the DX702 HP but I do have 2 of the old DX702s for dropshotting and would not trade them for any other rod(ok, maybe for new hp rods). I do have experience with the new DX742C HP though and it is an all around better rod than the old DX line. I also have experience with the NRX and personally don't like it. I'm actually trying to sell it and replace the 894NRX with a DX745 HP. The NRX is sensitive but I like the way the DX rods feel more.
I have multiple chatterbait said with silver blades and I would like to know to turn them black. I was thinking about just painting them but I don't know how durable it will be. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Sold the 2 new style 250s and bought 2 OG biwa masu's and an OG natural saiko to replace the injected ones.
Have 8 wood punkers, tons of hudds, slammers, triple trouts and Swavers not shown
Where to start?
I have 15 OG deps 250s I've paid between $80-$300 for.
Paid $375 for one hinkle trout and $500 for the other.
$400 for a roman made mother trap.
$160 each for 2 hinkle shads.
Retail for all of my BGC baits and the rest
it was set back due to the issues with the 3M resin being bought. I've played with the zayta at an expo and all I can say is that it's an unbelievable rod
