  1. I own both reels and personally the DC isn't that special to me. Aside from being able to cast into the wind pretty well i see no other benefit. If you have a well trained thumb then the regular Metanium will be fine.
  2. i have 2 zodias 172MH and the balance is perfect with the shimano core and metanium. I can't speak for the 172m though.
  3. haha i know but just stating my opinion. i never said the dx is more sensitive because obviously the nrx is more sensitive but i like the feel of the dx rods more is what i meant.
  4. texas rigged 4" hand poured finesse worm with a 1\16 oz weight on 7lb test
  5. For me its the IMA flit 120. Sold all my vision 110s & LC pointers and currently fish all flits.
  6. Well the pic didn't come out how i wanted but you can click on it. Just a few swimbaits.
  7. Awesome, i hope they're as good as the originals. Can't wait until they go up for sale.
  8. R2S biggie Megabass s crank Lc fat bds 3 I only throw 3 square bills
  9. I own a zonda 68 rosso as well and have compared it to the daiwa 105 with the same line, bait and rod. There is a noticeable difference.
  10. I can't speak for the DX702 HP but I do have 2 of the old DX702s for dropshotting and would not trade them for any other rod(ok, maybe for new hp rods). I do have experience with the new DX742C HP though and it is an all around better rod than the old DX line. I also have experience with the NRX and personally don't like it. I'm actually trying to sell it and replace the 894NRX with a DX745 HP. The NRX is sensitive but I like the way the DX rods feel more.
  11. Storm Arashi squarebill. Put many hours fishing it and not a single fish. I love squarebill too, just not this one.
  12. I have access to a fluid bed. Ill be trying that out. Thank you.
  13. I have around 40 to do haha. Thank you for the advise!
  14. if i were to powder paint them would I just use Pro Tec powder paint?
  15. I have multiple chatterbait said with silver blades and I would like to know to turn them black. I was thinking about just painting them but I don't know how durable it will be. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
