  1. Fly_Fisherman and I are going out in a bit.. I'm feeling a big MOMMA today
  2. I was seeing crappie sitting on beds where I was fishing monday, some pretty big ones too...
  3. Caught my first NH bass on Monday after lacrosse practice, I caught 4 and my partner got 2, none over 2.5 - they were all caught on jigs... Had a big pickerel slam my 6.5 savage gear line thru which really got my blood pumping... Hoping to get back out this weekend
  4. 5-6lbs great fish!
  5. We've still got a couple of feet of snow to get rid of before we even look at the ice lol... Great shots
  6. 6.5 was the largest one Thanks! My dad and I got guided and caught our bigger ones of of spinnerbaits... We lunched out of slims fish camp and didn't have to go far!
  7. I've got a decent amount of 6s but this 6-11 is my PB, caught her last fall...
  8. Caught on Okeechobee last year, one of the skinnier 20"+ bass I've caught...
  9. I also went with Mark Menendez
  10. Wow, nice work man!
  11. Definitely try to get the jig in your arsenal... There really isn't a time when I'm out on the water and a jig isn't tied on at least one of my rods... Besides there being multiple different kinds of jigs for specific types of fishing whether it's a swim jig, football jig, flipping jig, etc. you can really personalize your jig presentation which is probably one of the main reasons why I'm so attracted to them. That and that they flat out catch fish once you know what you're doing with them.. It wasn't to long ago before Shane taught me the ins and outs of jig fishing and it boosted my fishing skill and IQ a lot! As soon as you tie a jig on the window is wide open, selecting your trailer and or trailer color and then going as far as adding some JJs gives you the angler the power to be as creative as you want. Caught my PB on this jig - Outkast RTX w/ caffeine shad as trailer V&M Pacemaker swim jig w/ Rage Tail Shellcracker as the trailer Other jigs with some Rages on the back And like Mainebass was saying cranks can be a good bait to add too... Last year was my first year seriously fishing a crank and boy it was fun, had some really fun days with largemouth and smallmouth ~ same with jigs of course
  12. We were throwing some big golden shiners for a little bit, but went on to artificials which I prefer... The biggest one there (6.5) was caught on a spinnerbait but I did get a bite on a shiner that would have definitely been a PB but she shook the hook... We did do some flipping as well and that only generated one bite, spinnerbait caught lots of quality fish...
  13. I know! I had been getting all my college stuff done and what not and now I'm in my last semester of high school so I've finally got time to come back on!
  14. That's awesome man! Nice fish and good looking spot!
  15. My dad and I got to fish Okeechobee on Monday, it was my second time on the lake and we had a blast! Won't be doing any fishing up in New Hampshire for awhile and this really got my bass juices flowing again... Can't wait til spring!
  16. Biggest bass of the day went 6.5 caught a few 5s and a bunch of 3-4 pounders.. I did miss a big gal who spit the hook after a nice jump, fish was definitely pushing 8.... Also caught two mudfish in the 8 pound range...
