  2. Great read and congrats to all of you! I really wanna head down there sometime, I'll convince my dad LOL! Once again great job guys!
  3. That's what I'm talking about! Nice job man!
  4. I fished with the Daiwa Lexa 100 HL this year and loved it, goes for $129... Just picked up a revo stx gen 2, but won't be using it til it warms up... In 4 months...
  5. 4-6 on the ground, and 6-15 in hand...
  6. As far as age goes is their such thing as being "too young", I totally understand if there is. My thought would be that my dad and I would go next year, not sure if he would fish or not though I think it would be a blast... Also do you need a boat to go on the roadtrip?
  7. I have been looking in to them... I'm going to get one this spring...
  8. Rage craws are my favorite by far, fishing them in a number of ways... Jig trailer, texas rigged, rage rigged, etc... I love throwing a frog to...
  9. Are the trailers on the right subwoofers? They look good, I have been planning on getting some for swim jigs...
  10. Same fish for sure... Pretty cool
  11. Yes, it is a sport... It is now officially a sport in my state, which is awesome! Here's an article about my team this year and how I got a team started in my school (we did horrible in the championship, I did get a real nice smallie though)... https://www.nashuatelegraph.com/sports/high-schools/2013/10/17/milford-junior-helps-launch-nhiaa-bass-fishing-event/ I believe bowling and golf for example are also sports because the SCORE IS DEFINITE, apposed to cheer leading and gymnastics where the score is decided by judges. Don't get me wrong cheer leading and gymnastics are very physically demanding but aren't a sport in my book... It's the "DEFINITE Vs. INDEFINITE SCORE" that dictates whether something is a sport or not... Obviously chess is not a sport though...
  12. You guys should join our competition next year... Here is an example from the month of Sept. where the rules are described... http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/124375-who-wants-in-september/ It's a lot of fun, a prize isn't necessarily given to the winner each month, but people can volunteer to provide a prize if they'd like... Shane J provided a prize one month and I provided the one for last month...

  18. Our basketball program in our town has been having us do the Mikan drill since 7th grade...
  19. Our lacrosse team only graduated one senior last year and he was on our 3 line so hopefully we have a pretty good season...
  20. Basketball, and indoor lacrosse...
  21. WOW I thought the 7lbs 6oz was going to be the pig! When I catch a 7 I am going to be pumped, you and Shane catch these 7.5lbs bass all the time!! I was not expecting to see a 9 pounder!!!
  22. Braid is the best choice for frog fishing- braid will float, has no stretch, and can handle HEAVY cover... Fluoro VS. Mono.... Although fluoro has less stretch, the line will sink, making it harder to work the frog and more importantly to set the hook on the fish. Whereas mono will float and you can work the frog well, mono does stretch though, so you gotta make sure that frog get INHALED then you can wack 'em... If you are going to throw mono I would go with 15 or 17lbs... Sometimes you just gotta work with what you got... Hope this helped
