  1. What are you talking about?
  2. When I say I don't force the perspective intentionally I mean I do not focus on making the fish bigger in the photos... Yes, I push the fish forward, it's just a habit, I don't lie about the weight of the fish... My profile pic is cropped if you look at the real photo I am in the back of my canoe, yes holding the fish forward... 6lbs 5oz is the same whether it is 10ft away or 3ft away...
  3. I also look at the hand compared to mouth.... for example here is a 6lbs 5oz and a 2lbs 5oz, sometimes the mouth and head can be deceiving though, so I don't base my guess 100% on the hand, but do get an idea.... The ones below the line are example of the how some mouths of fish can be deceiving when looking at the head to hand comparison.... --------------------------------------------- 3.64lbs 3lbs 4lbs7oz
  4. My opinion is whether you make the fish look 15lbs or 2lbs as long as you tell the truth about the weight it doesn't matter...I tend to hold my fish out, but do not lie about the weight of the fish, personally lying about the weight is absolutely pointless... I do not intentionally force the perspective though...
  5. It his a left handed reel, I reel lefty... Everything else I do I am right handed haha
  6. I'm a righty, I am just holding the rod with my left hand in the photo, I cast with my right arm though haha... And am I missing something? I don't get it? LOL
  7. Flipin' the bird, awsome frog for me... I'd twitch it on cover, or burn it over cover, doesn't walk but an awesome frog...
  8. I did catch my PB this year 3.64lbs... During a tourney too... I don't have to many good smallie spots close by...
  9. NH PM me
  10. You wanna know how many smallies I have caught over 5lbs pounds in the last 4 years....... None You wanna know how many smallies I have caught over 5lbs in my life....... None LOL
  11. If caught newts like that... Even on a T-Rig!!!
  12. Caught these two nice ones earlier in the week, I didn't weigh them but I'd say the bigger one was pushing 6lbs...

    Fish 3

  14. I have used some big ones for stripers, they swim awesome and I do catch striped bass on them... I haven't thrown any for freshwater bass though... Great movement though!
  15. Talk to your athletic director, try to get a bass fishing team going at your school if it is a state sport. I started a team in my high school last year, we came in 3rd out of of 35 teams in the qualifying tournament and 6th or 7th in the championship this year... It is awesome, we are also getting a bass fishing club going for anyone in the school who doesn't make the team or just wants to be in the club... PM if you have any questions
  16. Those reels are sooo goood looking, to expensive for me though...
  17. Like others said, use certain types of jigs for certain situations... In my experience with jigs it did take me a little while to get my first fish, and I was doubting the jig. Saying that I couldn't feel the bottom, it doesn't feel right, etc.", but once I got my first jig fish my confidence shot WAY UP and I continued to catch fish on jigs... I have no problem feeling the bottom now (using the same setup as before), and caught bass on them regularly, they are one of my favorite things to throw... It's all in the mind, confidence, just slow down, be confident, and you WILL catch fish.
  18. Here is a bait I fell in love with this year, "flipin the bird"... I caught several 4lbs basss towards the end of the year on this bait, wish I started throwing it earlier!!

    From the album: fish 2

  20. Great video A-Jay, thanks for sharing!
  21. I was throwing a jerkbait, hook a 3lbs largemouth... Sit down in my canoe, fish slips out of my hands and the jerkbait goes straight into my leg with the fish flopping around like crazy!!! That ended my fishing day, I was more disappointed about that than my leg...
