  1. Nice chunker!
  2. Nice chunky fish!
  3. Looks like we've got 12 people who have declared that they are in for this month! Looking good!
  4. I take it you are in lol.
  5. I mean I get what your saying, I'd just hate to have the last place person have to do so... We could make it so someone just volunteers to provide a prize each month...
  6. Top 5 longest fish added up
  7. It's time!!!!!! Start joining!! http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/135844-who-wants-in-new-england-may/
  8. The bass are starting to bite again so it's time to get our competition back up and running! We've been doing this competition for a couple of months now and it's a lot of fun, if you not a New Englander I suggest trying to start up a similar competition in your area. For those of you who haven't competed check out the links at the bottom from some previous competitions. The competition this year is basically the same, with a little added incentive for some extra fun. NEW RULES: No soft measuring tapes Artificial lures only You must declare that you are "in" before the first of each month or you cannot compete for that given month, since this is the first month i'll give people to May 5th to join. Once a fish is photographed and measured it must be posted within a week of being caught Fish will be measured to the nearest 1/4", which we did for most of last years comp ADDITIONS: The winner of each months previous months competition provides the next months winner with a prize of the lures they won the previous month with, shouldn't have to spend more than $20. As we know the angler with the longest 5 fish at the end of the month wins, the monthly winner. This year we are going to have an angler of the year, the angler with the longest 10 fish at the end of the November competition will be given there prize, which is TBD... At the end of the year I'll try to coordinate a fish off where we all go on a rather unfamiliar lake and compete for the day... http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/124375-who-wants-in-september/ http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/125606-who-wants-in-october/ So Who Wants In????

  14. Nice fish, and I've got the same granite in my kitchen LOL
  15. 4.5 to 5
  16. 18-10 victory yesterday! I had 4 goals, great start to the season... Hoping to get out on the canoe tomorrow!
  17. Shane that setup is SHARP! First lacrosse game tomorrow, against a rather tough team but we only graduated one senior last year and he was a 3rd line midfielder lol. We did win all of our games in our jamboree so hopefully we'll make a run in the playoffs this year... -EXTREMELY excited for the high school bass season this fall! Gonna work very hard this summer!
  18. My first fish last year came on a popper on April 6th lol. I love topwater, throwing a frog in thick stuff has gotta be one of my favorite ways to fish... As of now my setup for it is a 7' MH Mojo rod and and Daiwa t3 7.1:1 spooled wioth 65# Power Pro. I plan on getting a 7'3- 7'6 H rod for my heavy braid setup and frogging and another reel to pair on the mojo... The only 7'+ rod I have is my cranking rod which is a 7'6 MH shimano clarus
  19. I'm going to be getting in my canoe for the first time sometime this weekend or next week... Can't wait just to get out on the water!
  20. I got one, I've used it once while I was on Lake Okeechobee and haven't been able to use it up here much. It's the 7.1:1 and I have 65# Power Pro spooled up on it, it handled well there and caught a good amount of fish with one good one. I like the reel and would say it is definitely worth the $109 on. The only time I used it up here was just flipping in a little hole of ice lol.
  21. Nice fish Joe!
  22. Not initially but they are linked and I could see them good. That thing is a BRUTE though!
  23. DANG! That first fish is an absolute tank! Did you get a weight on the one!?!?
