  1. Nice fish! Never caught one and actually never even seen one til this pic but my wife's nephew catches them a lot and I'll say it again, that's good eatin'!
  2. Still looking for some good spots since the move. I've recently been considering Centennial Lake in Howard County. From the pics Ive seen and what Ive read it seems like there's a ton of accessible shoreline to fish and the possibility of a tiger muskie is intriguing. Anyone ever fished it?
  3. Great show! My wife and I love it. It was really neat to turn it on earlier today and see Glenn on there. Awesome show Mike!
  4. Thanks man. That's really helpful. I caught some trout out of the Gunpowder this past month in the Hereford area. Looks like Dundee Creek is just up the road from me. Any tips on where the most access is from the shore? Like would I be better off going down by Marshy Point Nature Center or Gunpowder Park down at the end of Eastern Ave? Also the Gunpowder is pretty long with lots of different areas. Do you recommend any for bass? Most of what I've seen of the Gunpowder looks more like trout waters than bass.
  5. Thanks for the link Munkin. I'll give definitely give a few of those spots a try.
  6. Oh...my mistake...just realized that I posted pretty much that same message a month ago. Oh well. Guess well just call that a 'bump'.
  7. Wow...its been almost a month since anyone else posted on here? Anyway, I've just had the misfortune of moving back to Dundalk in scenic Baltimore County. I grew up here but didn't start fishing til I moved to the Eastern Shore so I'm at a loss for bass spots next season. Does anyone know any goods spots where I can fish from the bank within about an hours drive? I'm planning on renting a boat at Loch Raven Reservoir but that can get costly depending on how often I plan on going. Heck, I might even be willing to get a PA license if the spots worth it and it isn't too far over the line. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks guys...happy holidays!
  8. Awesome fish...that thing looks like a football!
  9. Nice fish! I'm planning to learn the drop shot next season.
  10. Good looking fish!
  11. Good looking fish!
  12. On the map, it's labeled as Lake Pinehurst but its really more of a pond. A private farm pond to be precise. Just started fishing it this season. Caught a ton of fish in the 12 inch range that were unusually chunky and feisty for their size with a few nicer ones in the 3-4 pound range like the one in my avatar. Crushed them all summer long with senkos and yum-dingers and then spinnerbaits and rat-l-traps when the fall bite started to pick up.
  13. Hey guys. I'm moving to back to Baltimore County at the end of the month. I've actually lived there for most of my life but I didn't start bass fishing till last year so I don't really know any good freshwater spots. If anyone knows any good spots in Baltimore County for bass fishing from the shore let me know. I'm probably gonna see about renting a boat at Loch Raven Reservoir and maybe look into getting a kayak but for now I'm assuming that I'll be shore-bound.
  14. The bites been real slow for me the past couple of trips. Caught a couple here and there on a spinnerbait but not many and nothing of size. If anyone's catching them, what are you using?
