  1. There are a lot of trailers that are foldable for kayak use. Yakima rack and roll is the first that comes to mind and I am pretty sure Malone makes one as well. My trailer folds as well but I have never folded it up as it doubles as storage for me. I am not even sure they do kayak trailers anymore but I love my sportsrig trailer. I did go back and forth on what trailer to get and ultimately my decision was I would rather have a trailer designed for what I was going to primarily use it for than have to heavily modify another trailer to make it work. High up front cost but literally no maintenance cost other than after year 6 i did recently rewire the lights.
  2. some lessons are learned the hard way. I should have listened to your advice
  3. I have been kayak fishing for 20+ years and I have to say that kayak fishermen in general are some of the most inconsiderate people on the water and at the boat ramps. I do think a lot of this has to do with many getting into it for the group aspect and going out with others so they think everyone is like that.
  4. Just so we stay on track and don't forget....the eagles and their fans are apparently trash or so I have been told all season. That makes all the teams in the NFC even more trash like the fraud Seahawks, cowboys, giants and niners, everyone already knew the vikings were garbage. The Eagles put up 31 on the highly touted niners defense and Bosa was nothing more than an afterthought. Eagles are on a roll and are gonna win Sunday and I am gonna take a couple days off to go to the parade once they win.
  5. I would be interested to see the market share of kayaks with a price point above say 500. I would venture a guess fishing is rapidly approaching recreational kayak purchases.
  6. Malone makes a decent trailer for the money. Only rated for 65mph though which would be a deal breaker for me.
  7. Maybe 25 years ago but fishing kayaks have all kinds of various hull shapes and PVC pipe runners will work on all of them. They are usually split type hulls that allow for greater stability and make them track better.
  8. Mahomes has a good ankle they don't lose by as much.
  9. had one and even got another one...second model is way better
  10. tomato tomahto
  11. sounds like something my ex wife would say
  12. this is dead on. Learn what a hit doesn't feel like, happens way more often, and you will dramatically improve your hookup potential. Same concept applies for any bait out there.
  13. Biggest largemouth for me have come on dahlberg diver style flies and smallies finesse gamechangers. Conventional last year was a toss up between jigs and frogs for largemouth and smallies I didn't even conventional fish for them but one time and it was all crankbaits. I imagine a similar result this coming season.
  14. too generous to KC....Eagles win by double digits
  15. nah they aren't balloons anyways...see
  16. Hope all you Seahawks, Vikings, Cowboys, Niners and Giants fans enjoyed your extra pro bowl slots thanks to the bum Eagles.
  17. and he got to Jackson before Father Time and plastic surgery did......
  18. We all know the best one....ironically enough Eagles were in that one too.
  19. Chiefs have done well for sure but you also have to take into account they have an absolutely fantastic coach. From the Chip Kelly era to now it is pretty remarkable to draft one QB high who got them to the playoffs and another signed backuop to take them all the way. Then that train wreck happend and a mere 2 years ago they were 4-11-1 and got rid of their super bowl winning coach and are back in it again. It is pretty wild really. If it wasn't the Eagles I would pull for Reid, class a ct through and through.
  20. Luka is going to be crying like a baby now that his numbers will go down with two ball dominant players
  21. people still believe in a flat earth so.........nothing should scare or surprise you anymore
  22. not necesarrily true. it is about finding the true balance point and going from there. Most handles aren't in the right spot. It isn't always easy at the end of a day of fishing but it is doable. Technique is as important as strength.
  23. Great ties as always man. I still haven't tied a single fly this winter but i thought about it a few times....
