  1. Guess ill be giving the bb1 a look-see...
  2. Any opinions on the Lew's Tournament MG? I have the Tourney Pro and love it! Thinking of adding the MG to finish off my rod/reel collection...for now...
  3. Does anyone have any suggestions for the best type of reel lubricant to use? Oils, greases, etc...?
  4. Thanks, my decision's pretty much made! I'm a taller guy so I like a little more length. 7'3" it is!
  5. Hey, does anyone have any experience with the 7'3" Duckett MH? I'm looking for a good multi purpose rod, and liked the feel of this rod. Any opinions? Thanks!
  6. If you search youtube for them, I'm pretty sure teamrippinlipz has an unboxing and gives some info about these reels.
  7. Thanks for all the info everybody!
  8. Does anybody have any advice on the best overall value spinning reel? Brands? Models? I'm looking to add a spinning combo to my arsenal for weightless worms, light jigs, and drop shot applications.
  9. Lew's Tournament Pro and a Duckett 7'6" for gettin nasty in the grass. So thankful!
  10. Yes. ASAP. Just got the tourney pro, and I have demo'd others in the Lew's family. Quality of construction and smoothness of operation is excellent. If you can I would recommend test driving the one you're interested in or at least putting it in your hand and giving it a personal inspection. If at all possible mount it on the rod you'll pair it with. That way you know exactly what you're getting. Once again though, when it comes to quality, I have been thoroughly impressed with Lew's.
  11. Appreciate it guys!
  12. Great info I appreciate it!
  13. Great info guys I appreciate it!
  14. Thanks for all the feedback everybody!
  15. Any tips for fishing in heavy hydrilla? My local lake is loaded with it and Im having trouble fising through it.
  16. Anybody got any opinions on what would be better paired with a Duckett Micro Magic 7'6" for frog fishing and pitchin--Shimano Chronarch or Lew's Tournament Pro? Thanks!
  17. Thanks to both of you guys! It's about to get crazy around here for me when we start practice in the fall, but I'd love to take ya up on the offer asap! Thanks once again!
  18. Im a college student in spartanburg, sc, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any good spots for bass around the area? I don't have a boat, so the major lakes don't seem to be my best option. Im looking for some good bank fishing really, at least until I can afford a kayak. Any help is greatly appreciated!
  19. I *** your combo...
  20. I'm 6'7" and 220. I need a kayak that I can fish comfortably in while standing. I don't wanna break the bank either. Does anybody know what my best option would be?
  21. Don't understand why they don't make more LHR. I am a righty, but I have a few LH fishin buddies and they mostly use spinning gear because of the limited LHR casters. I understand they sell less, but they should still produce them in every model!
  22. Thanks for the help! Ive heard only positive reviews about the Lew's, but they didn't have them at basspro when i went, so I couldn't actually hold it, which I wanted to do. I def like the idea of mounting it on the rod. What auction site was it you mentioned?
  23. I will soon be purchasing a new rod and reel combo, and am looking into either a shimano chronarch (new model shown at icast), a Lew's Tournament Pro Speed Spool, or a Quantum Smoke. I plan to mount it on a Shimano Clarus rod for frog fishing and some flippin/pitchin. I like the lifetime warranty offered with shimano rods. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has experience with these reels, and what they think about their performance and durability. I will soon be doing some kayak fishing as well as my normal bank fishing, and am on a budget. I'm looking to buy a quality product that I'll be using for a long time. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
