You jerk! Lol. I just called Bass Pro to get more info and I'm in. Just ordered my S and am gonna take back my vendetta and pay the difference for a veritas. This will effectively retire my black max 2 as it's getting evicted off it's vendetta to make a home for my SX. Thanks a lot lol!
I don't have one, but from Abu Garcia's product video, it has a beefier D2 gear system, new X2 alloy frame wider spool, and lower profile. Makes waffles, takes care of your kids and pets, mows lawn etc.
It's a slow day on these boards. I'll take any active topics I can get. When I backlash it's always "where did that wind come from?" Of course it's never my fault lol.
I use cheapo jigs, and they last me forever. I don't fish around any heavy cover though, as our lake doesn't have any so that may be why. Me and you must be the only ones on these boards today lol.
Makes me feel like a jerk when my girlfriend rushes to get the net and that happens lol. Now when I really do have one, she's like "are you sure?" Lol. Guess I've cried "bass" too many times haha.
I decided on picking up some Xcaliburs, but now I don't know which ones are better. The XRs have multiple bbs in them, while the XRK has one tungsten rattle in them. It used to be that rattle baits like the Rat L Traps were the best with the multiple bbs and chambers, but now I'm reading that the One Knocker by Xcalibur is the way to go. Which ones should I choose?? Thanks.
I just called him to ask, and he told me the jig has a better rise and fall action lol. He may be visiting these boards to defend his statement lol. I think he's just too lazy to tie on.
Contact abu Garcia first. They are awesome about sending parts out quickly at no charge. They sent me 2 new side plates for my sx because the brake dial would get stuck at a certain spot. Took 2 days to arrive.
I own 22, but I'm having a hard time deciding between some SK RES, Xcalibur XR50s, or the Academy Rattlin Ts. Plus if I buy any more, I will have to buy more storage too. I need a sugar mama.
I just hate to pay $6-$7 for one lure. I recently bought some cheap mangler crank baits, and they are amazing quality. I was hoping the H20s were a good, cheap alternative to the Xcaliburs.
I'm in the market for some lipless cranks, and was gonna order some Xcalibur XR50s, but browsing Academy's site I came across some that look pretty nice for around half the price. Has anyone ever given these a shot, and if so how are they? Thanks.
