FINALLY! I went fishing for about 2 hours tonight, about an hour in a caught a little largemouth (10 inches), a few minutes later I hooked a nice one that snapped my line...Finally at around dark I caught a nice one, about 18 inches or so with a nice big belly (no scale yet...on the list) it's the first decent largemouth I've caught in Florida, good day. I already agreed to go fishing for red's Thursday morning or I would come join you AK...good luck!

I've gone out to the Pritchard ponds three times now, have gotten about 5 bass, none of them over 14", Also caught a big dogfish. I think once this rain stops I'll go check out the place in Argyle. Is this the prime time for bass fishing, or does it pick up as we get into the cooler weather? Wondering if the hot weather has been making the big ones a little wary of biting.

Awesome, thanks MCS. Quick question...when I go to check out places like these, where should I park? I don't want to park somewhere I'm not supposed to and make people mad, get some no fishing signs posted etc...Do you guys just park on the street? looking at streetview there doesn't seem to be any pull off area's nearby. Also, sent JaxBasser a PM, doesn't seem like he's been online here since July.

I tried out a couple of the ponds off of Pritchard two nights ago, showed up about 45 minutes before dark, finally caught one little one at the very end...I didn't check out the map from earlier in the thread until later, and wasn't fishing in what seem to be the best ponds. Will probably head back this weekend sometime, its about 10 minutes from my house, so its really convenient.

Hey guys, I was just checking out this forum, wondering if anybody wants to do some fishing this week...I want to check out some ponds around here, haven't been bass fishing since I moved here last year and have the itch. Would be great if somebody could show me a few places. I'm originally from Michigan and would love to catch some of the big ones down here!
