I've also heard some people don't like the new ones. But, a lot of other people say theirs little to no difference in the action and they get bit the same. Maybe some people are annoyed that they are more readily available but who knows.
Although it seems like a marginal bass lake, it produces 8 and 9 pounders. I have fished it many times over the summers and love it. Is it the best conditions for LMB? No, but it sure does hold some mighty fine fish.
Had some leftover money from the holidays and just ordered one of the new DEPS 250s. I don't know if I should be happy or embarrassed that j just bought one....
I'll post pics when I get it!
If you put the time in you'll be rewarded. There are guys who can go out with 8 inch hudds and glide baits and catch 20+ fish a day at certain times of the year.
Hey guys,
Just like the title says I was wondering what the best fish finder for $150 or less is. I would mount it on my porta-bote. I wanna do some exploring around my local lakes that sometimes get to 60 feet!
Thanks
A LONG way, but i have a high end rod designed for baits 5-8 ounces and a great reel.
Do not try to whip it, let the rod load up and lob it out there with some force
my favorite place to fish poppers is in wood actually, they produce tons of bass and most of them are decent sized. Just don't cast on top of a stump and you'll be fine
