  1. Welcome to BR. Dont forget to use the members map, theres a few of us here from MN.
  2. My partner and I finished our first season of fishing a "real" bass circut the last weekend of Sept. Looking back over the summer it shows we both have alot to learn about the competitive side of bass fishing. We fished a total of 5 tournys with a two day classic as the end of year. That alone was a challange. Boat check at 5am and weigh in at 3pm equals alot of time on your feet and thousands of casts, plus trying to stay positive through the slow times. I have a new outlook on fishing bass tournys, and a new respect for those guys that consistantly get in the top ten. Our last tourny was the best for us of the whole year. Day one we were in 12th place with 13.73 and big fish of 4.41, while 1st was 17.92lbs with a big fish of 4.97. Pretty confident with our position going into day 2 we ended up really struggling. Fished very hard for 8 hours covered miles of water and came up short. We ended up at the scale with only 2 fish for 3.92lbs and a total weight of 17.65. 1st place total weight was 34.23! Needless to say we have our work cut out for us next year. 54 anglers brought in 232 bass (179 largemouth and 53 smallmouth) for a total weight of 639.10 lbs. with 0 dead fish great job. Heres a couple pics of my partner and I at the weigh in.
  3. Thats a good question. I just picked it up a couple weeks ago and didnt even notice. I just went out and looked and am pretty sure there is'nt one? I'll look allittle more tommorrow but I didnt see one on the trailer anywhere. You would think that would come standard with a new boat.
  4. Not sure why I cant put these all on one thread, but heres a few more pics.
  5. Heres my new boat. It's a 2012 186XT Stratos with a 115 Evinrude E-Tec. This is the third bass boat I've owned, but the first brand new one. I absolutly love it! I was a little concerned with a 115 hp on a 18.9' glass boat, but the E-tec pushes her right along. Solo I can get 50 mph, and with a partner and his gear its about 47. Great on fuel and oil.
  6. Glen, It worked now. Thanks for everyones help.
  7. Currently I'm using Firefox. I assume the latest version. I also have Chrome on desktop. Tried that after clearing cache and still nothing. The map comes up, but that's all. Also tried IE with same results. I also tried my daughters laptop with IE. Just the map comes up here too. In the corner of the map it just shows "map, hybred, and satalite", still no where to add location...
  8. Well I cleared the cache restarted the browser (fire fox) and stll nothing. Any other options? Thanks
  9. Hooah, Nothing there that says update location and I am signed in when trying. I've used the help/search and it looks like theres a few members with the same issue. Hopefully I can get it figured out, then I can start working on why some of the videos only play for about 3 sec and start over... Thanks, Ben (13Fox/11Bravo)
  10. I would like to post my location on the member map, but there is nothing to click on the top right to add location. Any help on this? Thanks.
  11. I would like to post my location, but there is nothing in the top right corner to click. I get the same screen as snuffleupawhat does? Any help on this yet?
  12. Hello, First off I would like to say how glad I am to have found this site. It seems to be full of great info which will be very helpful in my fishing adventures. Im 36 years old and have been fishing for about 30 (give or take). The last 10 years though I have gotton a little more serious though. However up until about 3 years ago I spent my time on the water chasing walleyeys and fishing some tournys. Then a friend of mine bought a bass boat and I started fishing with him chasing bass and other species. Since then I have sold my 1776 Pro V and bought my 1st bass boat, a 17? nitro with a 60 hp merc. After 2 years with that boat I upgradded to a 18.6 884 savage nitro with a 150 mariner. Great boat but had some mice damage to the oilline, and blew the motor on the 4th of July. I decided I was commited to the bass boats and just bought a 2012 Stratos 186XT with a 115 E-Tec. Absolutly love it so far. Currently Im in a small bass circut called the Upper Midwest Bass Challange Series. We havent cashed a check yet but its been fun meeting some good anglers and seeing some new water. Im looking forward to learning and sharing on this site and becoming a better fisherman from it. The one question I have though so far is , how do put my mark on the members map? With that I hope to meet some local anglers and get some learning on the water. Thanks. Ben
