So Im putting my boat away in storage today. Removed the batteries and noticed some god awful nasty crud from water and dirt and whatever that was by the drain. Does anybody pour stuff down the boats center drain hole to clean the bilge area? This is my first boat and first time for everything that comes with it. Can anybody recommend a cleaner? Thanks-Lee
Ya. Its a go on putting it on. Just ordered an OEM impeller kit. Id say it took about 8-10 seconds to see the stream. But Id say the water has to fill the water jackets in the block so maybe that isnt so bad?
Thanks for the advice Mike I will certainly try that. I guess alot of it could be some bad habits Ive picked up. Im really throwing hard with the cranks as Im trying to really cover some water. And its a hard over the shoulder whipping motion. Did alot of time with spinning reels as said before.
Yaknow Ive been wondering about possibly going with something with a faster action that would be a little easier because of my type of casting. Its a good point. Thanks
Yes, But I believe its more of the shoulder movement when loading up that MH action rod of mine. Plus ive been a mechanic my whole life so Im sure some can be related to work.
Fishing some cranks yesterday. Which we know equals alot of casting. Any of you stretch before a long day of
casting ? Getting some shoulder pain. Any advice would be great. Thanks, Lee
And Im not getting old!!!!! Well maybe.
I appreciate all of the tips. Just curious though. How long should it take before I see a stream of water coming out of it? The boat sat for a month and I was getting worried that it is taking to long to see a stream of water after I started it.
Started my career with Harley Davidson for 16 years. From there I became an Instructor at MMI for motorcycles. Did that for 5 years. Now Im back with in the motorcycle shop again but with Indian Motorcycles now.
Well said. They played a hard game. But the patriots gave them 14 points. Pick six. ( really tough to call that a pick) And pass interference on the one yard line. But honestly.. Go Colts??????? Ya right.
I just replaced my prop on my unit. And cleaned and lubed the shaft. As far as the cables? Should these be lubed as well. If so then how? Thanks, my first season with boat.
