Yea Lou no luck not even today I was just at a canal on 8th st and 137th ave I was there for almost 3 hours using senkos and a crank bait and nothing I saw fish but none of them even looked at my lures....its starting to get a bit frustrating....maybe it's that I go too late (4:30pm is when I leave work and I go fishing at that time) idk what it is but I just want to catch a few bass that's all lol is that too much to ask?

  4. Hello all, I've been trying to fish down here in Miami Florida canals and have been having trouble with snagging weeds and grass with crank baits and they just aren't going after the worms, NOT EVEN SENKOS! I'm brand new to bass fishing and fishing in general to be honest so I wanted to know what types of lures should I use to maybe get a few bites in these canals. Just an FYI im only doing shoreline fishing I don't own a boat. I don't know if that makes a difference but I thought I'd throw it out there lol Thanks.

  11. awesome guys, thanks a lot for all the replies. I can tell everyone is very helpful. Im in west miami on 8 street and around 67th ave. I asked the guy at bass pro shops today by dolphin mall he said there is a canal right behind bass pro that holds peacock and other species of fish too so I'm gonna try that out some time this week but i'd like some other spots that are a little closer to home gas is too expensive lol thanks again!!!!
