That makes sense because if you follow my link, the PDF file distinguishes Nothern Zone catch and release, Nothern Zone harvest and Southern Zone harvest. That, in and of itself, should be sufficient, but a few other people I have talked to made much ado about it and I wanted to be crystal clear.

As far as I understand it, game fishing season (here in WI, at least) doesn't open until May 4th, yet I have heard people talking about already getting out on the water (I frequent http://lake-link.com/'>Lake Link for local info and only one person has mentioned the season and he was a guide). Am I missing something? Is fishing season not actually enforced? Is it not "frowned upon" within the fishing community to disobey these times? Or am I totally misunderstanding what is meant? I finally went out and bought the vinyl mat to stick inside my plano boxes. Thanks for the tip Gene. I then proceeded to "test" it out by throwing my tackle around the house. It works. However, it garnered some strange looks from my kids and our cat.

Full size spook was my go to last year at a nearby creek right as the sun was coming up for smallies. Granted, the bait was nearly as big as the fish, but that's fine with me.

I am personally extremely anxious to get out but not at the expense of doing so illegally.

It would appear as though my mindset is more suited to that of a warmer climate when it comes to fishing. Here I am, ready to get in on the Spring bite and the ice has barely gone, the season hasn't legally started and yes, snow in the forecast this week.

Walmart (around here at least) carries some Pinnacle stuff. I've never tried the higher end, if there even is any, but the lower end cheap stuff is exactly that: cheap. Crappola. Too funny. I completely disagree with the "you either love the Cowboys or you hate them". No one I know even gives a crap about the Cowboys. I only think about them the week leading up to the Bears game when they happen to play one another. Nearly everyone I know only thinks about the Cowboys the weeks they play their favorite team. I picked one up a couple days ago and got it out yesterday.....not too happy. Sure, it makes good length casts, but it in doing so, it sounds like a dying giraffe. I don't know if this is what I get for going from 2 high quality reels to a cheap one or what, but it sounds like it's "spinning out"? when casting, if you can imagine that sound. Like maybe the bearings are loose or something. I will have to take it apart and see what the spool looks like inside, but doing so may spell the end of the reel lol because I have never taken one apart before and I can't afford to have it done professionally.

Yep. Get rid of Norton. MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials) is a great free program. Also, for manual scans, use MBAM (Malware Bytes Anti-Malware). It doesn't run in the background, but it is top notch for seeking out troublesome files. There is a lot of other techno-babble that I could get into (entering safe mode, turning your hidden files to "viewable" etc.), but it depends on your level of tech-saviness because I am not very good at giving layperson instructions. When was the last time you ran a disk defrag (assuming you aren't using a solid state drive as your system disk)? When was the last time you rebooted your machine? What OS are you running? How much system memory? What processor?

Not for anyone with any intellectual honesty. An intellectually honest person simply had no reason to believe that those particular species existed until there was sufficient evidence (not proof. Proofs only exist in math and logic) that they did exist.

You forgot the very real possibility of a Unicorn. I've heard of people that have talked to people that have seen them, so that's plenty of evidence for me to believe in them. Some of those people were scientists, so that's even better.

And as long as people continue to watch, nothing will change.
