you have every right to fish. They have no right to do that. That deserves some jail time to teach them a lesson. I would kindly relocate if they just spoke out as would many.
I have the 705cb glass. What I noticed is more fish landed in the boat. The glass keeps thos fish buttoned up really nice and still has enough backbone when you need to horse something out of moderate cover. Its an amazing rod. One of my favorites that I own.
My Ci4 was caked from the factory. I cleaned mine myself because it's way too much for my liking. You should send it to DVT next time or someone else different from who you used. I'd never accept that back.
Not sure if I'll make the Schaumburg show this year, if my schedule permits I'll swing out. I'd like to see Swindle on Friday but doubtful to make that happen.
No to Rosemont basically from what Scott described. That place used to be great and had a ton of deals. I haven't been to that one in over 5 years.
Get a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Dip in water, scrub and be amazed. Then look into some U40 cork sealant to protect in the future. One bottle will last you a very long time.
As suggested a proper cleaning and adjustments to your settings after will most likely achieve better distance. A 7'+ rod is going to make a difference as well.
Also what line type and size are you using?
You can save 20% on all Dobyns in stock at BTD today only. Thats $72 savings on the Dx795.
I have the 766c and a Dx745. The champ is my punching rod and works great in really nasty slop. All other flip/pitch and jig work is done on on the DX. I will own more when I can afford too. They are awesome rods and a pleasure to fish with.
Listening and speaking with KVD in person, his own words were that he uses baits outside of SK. You'd be a fool to think any pros are using just a single brand of anything. Rods and reels perhaps but not lures.
