  1. I don't mind them at all! I like them still. I noticed you do have less place for the trailer but I still like them.
  2. Vegetation ** dumb spellcheck..
  3. Where are you located? What's the water temps? If there's no cover look for any difference, whether it's as small as a 6" ledge to a thin veggitarion patch.
  4. Just bought my first pack ever today in "White Ice" color.. I saw the bellies are slit so I was wondering what the best hook for these? I also was wondering the best retrieve for them. Thanks Cole
  5. I have a spinnerbait rod with 14lb fluro and I throw mostly 3/8th oz spinnerbaits, but now I wanna throw my Cavitron 3/8th oz buzzbaits on it. Maybe it's just me but the sinking line with a topwater seems dumb. What's a good mono line and pound test for the spinnerbaits and buzzbaits? Is big game in green okay?
  6. Can I still get a good hook set with the MF tip?
  7. Anybody ever use or own a Fenwick HMX Casting Rod? I wanna buy the 7' MH one for jigs. Is has a moderate fast action and rated for 1/4- 1 1/4th oz. is this a good jig rod? It's on tackle warehouse http://www.***.com/Fenwick_HMX_Casting_Rods/descpage-HMXC.html Cole
  8. What's the benifits of both? I see the pros pitching lots of plastics and jigs but what determines what to use? What's the benifits and cons of each?
  9. It sounds to me like a bait that suspends in the water colum and doesn't have any action when reeled in so you twitch it with your rod to get the bait to move.
  10. Loud baits like traps or RES
  11. Jerkbaits and tubes are always my smallie go to's
  12. Congrats! Nothing better than catching one bigger than the last..
  13. Yeah my plan was to hit the coves and find some bass stuck on structure. I think jigs and tubes will be my only way to go..
  14. Most of the baits I fish are year round baits, but the retrieve varies at different times and temperatures.
  15. I like spinning. Just for simplicity and I like to fish weightless
  16. What color jigs for these clear water situations?
  17. "Bull Shad" hahaha.. I agree x2
  18. I'm about ready to take a chainsaw and cut the ice off the water here so I can fish.. Your lucky haha.
  19. I'd probably go with Yum Money Minnows for soft plastic swimbaits.. And definitely some Spro BBZ swimbaits for hard ones. Just my .02
  20. Jigs won't spook them if hopped along the sandy/rocky bottom in clear water? What colors do you recommend?
  21. Summer.. Lake Owen
  22. I've been looking into doing my first real bass tournament on a clear water lake in Wisconsin.. It's a 20ft deep lake and you can see the bottom.. What are some sure fire baits to use and colors? And what are things to stray away from?
  23. I guess I learned something today. Haha Thanks!
  24. In N. WI I was in Wally World today and didn't see even any of the plastics mentioned on sale.. Got some gammy 3/0 EWG hooks a 5pk for 2.50 though. And other misc hooks..
