Hey guys. Down in Fort Worth Texas for some school, so far I've fished lake worth and the trinity river with no luck at all except a small white bass, I've tried crankbaits, plastic worms and craws, spinners and poppers, and live bait all with no luck, does anyone know any reliable spots or baits/lures for this area?

I have actually been using a buzzbait lately and it's working out surprisingly well, but as far as regular spinners I always use a white skirted with one good and one silver spoons on it.

I was watching getting schooled on wfn tv and heard about nanofil, i currently use fireline crystal 14lb on a shimano cardiff baitcaster. For those of you who use it, Is this nanofil stuff any better or is it equally comparable as far as no stretch and good sensitivity. thanks

yes yamasenko's are the real deal. Probably the best thing ive used i get about 7 lg mouth every time i go out with the 5" my best results come from smoke color with purple flake or pumpkinseed with chartruse flake, basically ive used most of the available colors in my area (nj) and have always had positive results. as for durability ill let you in on somewhat of a secret, go to home depot take your bag of senkos with you and find o-rings in the kitchen section, find an o-ring that fits snugly aroung your senko but not too tight, buy a pack of them. slide the o-ring onto the middle of the senko then using a weedless hook, hook it through underneath the o-ring wacky style and your good to go!!! i usually got through about 10 catches or more before it starts to get messed up.

im from nj and im pretty sure we dont have crawfish here. if i were to throw a crawfish lure out in a lake or pond do you think the fish would go for it or just put their nose up to it being as they might not have seen one before?
