I was looking at their website and it looks like Amber Black Iridium might be the way to go for a all around lense.

Overall I love Loomis rods. But at the current time I am running Loomis rod for when I need more sensitivity and Crucials for where I need a great rod but not as much sensitivity.

Well it looks like Clark Wendlandt has the Pro side lead at 17.6. Not quite a 3 lb lead over 2nd place. While Clint Bridges leading on the Co-Angler side at 13-11 having about a 2.5 lb lead over 2nd.

I always thought there should be a new rule out there that if you buy a diamond ring to get married it should be mandatory you buy a bass boat. Because we all know that once that ring is on her finger you aren't getting no boat unless you already have it. ;D

Definately tons of smaller fish that have been taken today out of Travis using finesse. With one nice bass thrown in so far on a C-rig.

I have been listening/watching it for awhile now. I posted this in the General discussion but there are a ton of people using the dropshot and shakeyhead techniques.

Been watching/listening to the FLW weigh in from Lake Travis. Everytime they ask them what they caught them on they usually say dropshot, shakeyhead, or a varient of it. Whats your take on this? Is finesse fishing taking over as the go to technique?

Hmmm I am thinking maybe the VR50 Brown might be close. I was looking and it does look like I can get the M frames in amber. Not sure if I like how big they are though.

Does anyone know of a good Oakley tint thats a good all around tint like Amber is? If not I guess I might just buy a $50 pair of amber glasses to wear when the Oakleys won't work well.

What I mainly want to know is will I not feel/miss fish on the Crucial that I would otherwise feel/catch on the loomis?

I was loooking at some Oakley polarized sunglasses today and noticed they have alot of tints most others do not such as black iridium(one of the ones I was interested in), bronze, etc. Does anyone know how these tints compare to other tints such as amber, green, etc. Especially the black tint. I was looking at the Crucial and Loomis dropshot rods. I was going to get either the 7'2" Crucial or the 6'10"(Think thats what it was) Loomis. I know that the Loomis might be a bit better but is it that much better to warrant the extra cost? P.S. Does anyone know what blank Loomis uses in their dropshot model? Thanks

I seriously injured my back during high school in football. Went through alot of rehab. While I haven't had surgery I still get back pain quit often. I am hoping I don't need surgery ever but its definately feeling like I am going that way.
