  1. The long range is looking awesome if it holds true.... .First week of April should be no problem!
  2. I launch further up. Usually out of Holiday Harbor but depending on the wind if its nasty will launch else where like Kelly Bay, Missisiquooi, etc etc.
  3. Its a really big lake, depends what area your staying in. I take a trip up to North Hero every May. The smallmouth and largemouth fishing is GREAT
  4. I be from thur
  5. And more rod upgrades!
  6. I'm really hoping its late March. I have a tourney on the 5th and the 11th also in North Jersey. Last year we had one the first weekend of April and we made ice out by literally one day and it worked out. This year is going to be another nail biter but the long range looks promising.
  7. I was on the water March 9th in 2013 These brutal Februarys need to stop!
  8. This is always fun. I'm going to guess last week of March around the 26th!
  9. If we told ya, we'd have to kill ya I dont know of many secrets but try the local rivers, there's bass in them
  10. How long ago did he break the skeg? If it was recent and the reason he's selling the boat the lower unit may be compromised. A broken skeg is also a safety issue, many recommend having it cut of and welded but that in itself is also a safety issue if you speak to Mercury. I would add in the cost of a new lower unit for this reason or as a good reason to talk down the price. Otherwise if everything else checks out good with the motor, it seems like a pretty nice deal.
  11. This for sure, does not matter if it's 2 stroke if it meets EPA requirements now and in the future.
  12. error.... does not compute..
  13. Are there any events Wednesday nights?
  14. +1 on this battery. I run two HDS 8's, power pole + Livewells and never run out of battery life.
  15. Sorry but that aint happening for $1,500, nor will a 4 wheeler pull it...... Did I miss something here?
  16. Really depends on their condition and what electronics/features one has over the other that you prefer. They both make/made good boats but Procraft is no longer around, Stratos is.
  17. You don't have to put it in once you install it. It's fixed in there and you just deploy and raise the spike via the motor/pump controls with the talons and regular power poles. Not sure if the Mini requires removing the spike for trailering or anything like that.
  18. Sounds like your throttle cable is sticking. It could be getting stuck somewhere or possibly have a kink in it or something of that nature. You will likly need new throttle cables and possibly a new control box if the throttle cables wore a groove in there making them stick. Take it to a shop if your not confident in what your looking at.
  19. You can find a detailed contour map on the Navionics web app on their website. A 16' bass boat will run all the way up the creeks without problem if the water levels are normal. I was all the way in the back of both creeks last year with an 18' glass boat. Most people respect the no wake zones except some jet skiers and pleasure boaters. I usually avoid the place like the plague on sunny weekends in the summer. I have never seen rangers enforce it on weekdays(usually not a problem and nothing to enforce) but I'm fairly certain they enforce it on busy summer weekends.
  20. Nice rig! Once you go glass, you'll never go back
  21. New to me 2008 Nitro 901 CDX w/ 200hp Optimax. Spring can't come soon enough!!
  22. But it's certainly not necessary to run WOT everywhere you go with a much bigger motor.
  23. I fish Beltzville a couple times a month.
