A little backstory
Grew up on the ocean, fished I disagree off as a kid and teen, never had a lot of great freshwater fishing spots. So now that I'm older I've moved to New Hampshire while the fishing here from the shore isn't easy I have a couple ponds that I go to for bassin' . All ponds I fish have a decent amount of lilypads, milfoil, downed trees, etc. I can reach this cover from the shore easily.
My Arsenal:
I've caught EVERY bass since early june on rubber worms (Mostly Senko 5") started using a Havoc 8" juice worm (while it's lighter than the senko's having trouble getting it to sink faster/cast farther. Fishing them slowly, let it drop, bring it up and let it fall.
I have tried some topwater frogs (Stanley Ribbitt, Boo-yah Pad crasher, Ragetail toad) but even with the really thick padded area. Getting a few swipes but not hooking up.
(don't use any crankbaits because there is too many weeds out there)
How else can I present my soft baits in these areas. Regular shoreline and super weeded areas? Trying to get my plastics to drop down better between the pad openings or at least find a different way to fish. Any details, ideas or reccomendations would be greatly appreciated.
