Awesome! But if so why don't they sell also just plain black lures?

This may seem odd or stupid to some people but, why are there hardly no jet black lures? My grandpa gave me a worn out crank bait with no paint so I painted it all black? Was that a big mistake or a good idea? Im very curious about this

Although that is a good idea I thought they were alittle thin myself thanks for the tip

Hello everyone, ive been playing around with alot of junk baits lately and decided to try to create some custom skirts. Although I do not own the quipment to do so, some polar pop straws worked fine. Hey guys, I normally fish with my dad and use his baits but since Im getting older I've been buying my own. Since I dont have that much experience buying baits I need some help on good baits, baits that are okay and what to avoid. I have soft plastics that fish good here, little crank baits and a ton of strike king spinner baits. Also an old lunker buzzbait. I tend to worm fish more than I do these others in tournaments with my dad but id like to widen the horizon. I have just recently started throw a buzzbait and have caught two keepers one weighing under 4. I have watched many YouTube videos on what rigs to use a nd various plastics but I'm still stumped. Any ideas? Also I'm only 14 so many is somewhat hard to. Come by so I'd like to buy bulk of possible to say and get better deals. Thanks

Hello guys/gals Im new to this forum and its very helpful! Ive got some questions. We ( my dad and I) fish lake monroe every weekend and fish night tournaments with U.S.A. Bassin and here lately the bites have been slow. My dad knows this lake and its honey holes inside out but here lately nothing has been biting ( except big flathead). We have thrown our top baits and small fish has hit but nothing big. Before the spawn we had caught two 7's back to back and that was great. Now its not so good. Any tips/advice please help it would be great!
