  1. Are you guys expecting to be able to keep them in stock after the initial release? I will try and get the order out asap when they are listed
  2. I got my son a trigger cast reel. The spin cast were harder for him. He ends up casting it 30 yards perfect in front of him or 30 behind him. All or none, no happy medium. I am thinking about putting a 3" swim bait weightless on his rod. Watch the fishing reports for Jacobs 5 pound monster lol
  3. I have never used the GY Senkos. To expensive for me. I have several Yum Dingers and the BPS Stick O's. I cant tell a difference in either of the two. I tend to stick with the BPS as they give me more reward points
  4. How does this differ from the o-rings
  5. We have a lot of those docks at lake Hefner in OKC. They are fun to fish but the ones around here get fished so hard its slim pickens. I would also hit the shore areas around the docks too. I have pulled some good size LM out of Hefner off top water poppers 50-75 feet from the docks
  6. My son is 5 and in the "daddy let me show you something " stage. We just got through the why stage last year. It drove me nuts but being as I only have him 40% of the year, I welcome all the jabber. After having him for the week I'm Kinda ready for a break. 5 minutes after I drop him off I'm calling to talk to him on the 2.5 hour car ride. My exwife and I have facetime on our Iphones and its a free call so we jabber all the way back. Jacob is still in the legos are life stage but has been begging me to go fishing and cast our poles in the front yard all the time. Little turd is getting really good.
  7. I agree 100% I passed on the Veritas MH for now. It was really stiff for what I wanted. I think its closer to a H.
  8. This is what I do. Is the line on your reel worth saving?
  9. That SX sure is pretty. I like the bent star and handle. That is one turn off on the S model. I have 60 dollar BP reels that have fancier handles then it
  10. That new revo s is purdy! I don't know if I can wait that long ha ha
  11. I jig fish 90% of the time so I thought I would make my Silver Max, which is my main jig set up and move it to something like a frog or finese rig. That way giving me a better and smoother reel for jig fishing. Only draw back to both reels is no flipping or pitching switch.
  12. I got a 100 dollar gift card for my bday and am thinking about getting another reel. I have the Abu Silver Max and love the quality. I was thinking about moving up to the Revo S. They are 99 dollars. My other option is the Pro Qualifier. I have one that I use for cranking and love it. Kinda torn here. What are the pros and cons of each? Thanks in advance
  13. Thanks. I just didn't know if it had a shelf life. Never had line in bulk before lol
  14. Is the tension knob on the right completely out of the way?
  15. Just had an idear. Here is a good quality used here on the forums here for 32 shipped. Finding a decent rod for 20 bucks should be too hard.
  16. How long will line last if kept on the main spool indoors out of sunlight and elements etc? I am thinking about buying the Yo-Zuri hybrid ultra soft 600 yard spool. I want to use this for my spinning rods but the 600 yards will last several years. Thanks in advance
  17. Do you have a Bass Pro near you? They have a mega cast combo for like 40 bucks. I would rather buy it than one at Walmart. Go on Bass Pros website and look at the Tourney Special LTD combo. I love it. Honestly one of my favorite combos. 59.99 on sale.
  18. I'm no expert but that looks like a saltwater rig. Might be a bit big for bass.
  19. If you find a place selling them I would like to try them as well. I have always been impressed with Culprits plastics
  20. I pop it. I always thought that's why it had that funky nose. Plus I usually get my biggest strikes on the pop
  21. Another Cubbie fan that can share the pain. Your state requires a minimum of 6 pounds to keep a bass? Nice catch though. My 5 year old loves the Senkos. He catches more fish on them than I do
  22. Don't feel bad, I had to google how to take the cover off. My brakes happened to be set correctly when I bought it so I lucked out. I got to hand pick my rod from 20 plus on the rack. I just chalked the miss alligned guides to customers banging them around. I like the reel so much I may end up getting another one
  23. That was my problem at first when switching to fluoro before I new it sank like a brick. Took me awhile but I got it down. I assume it will be like starting over again.
