  1. The only thing I check now is wind direction and cloud cover. Those two factors pretty much tell me how and where I am going to fish most of the time.
  2. Best times for me are 6-10AM. Followed by 4-6PM, Has been very slow in the evening all summer for me.
  3. Not sure on the saddle, however the o ring size for 5" is 3/8" inside diameter and 7/16" inside diameter for 6".
  4. Anything predominantly green works just fine, Senko #912 works great in my neck of the woods.
  5. 5:30AM-9:30AM Monday thru Friday. Absolutely nobody around to interfere with my catching.
  6. Okuma, Megastrike, Biospawn and Rage products via TW.
  7. Childrens fiskars work just fine.
  8. Seaguar red label works just fine.
  9. They're not the crank and wind power fishing lure that everybody has to throw . The slow as you go presentation of the Senko is usually a last resort for a lot of guys. Fish definitely do not see slow presentations as much as fast. IMO.
  10. My number one technique from the bank.
  11. First smallie of the year, from the bank.

  13. Just applied some of this on my new rod(St.Croix MH Avid spinning) looks great. The company says to poke a small hole in the foil instead of removing it. Then store the bottle upside down. This should add shelf life to the product.
  14. Looks like levelfishingrods.com is the only place right now.
  15. Okuma RTX 30s, I have this paired up with a 7' Avid MH. One super light combo.
  16. Go to the pflueger website, you will see that the President baitcast does not exist.
  17. 15lb Hi Vis yellow power pro with 12 or 15lb Seagar red label as leader.
  18. 22" for Largemouth, 21" for Smallmouth. Just about every species is eligible for Master Angler awards.
  19. I'm still hooked on Senko's.
  20. I use a spinnerbait to put them on alert.
  21. As a bank fisherman, I believe that it is my civic duty to always leave the area in better condition than I found it. Most of the places I fish are public land. I would hate to see the government begin to shut down bank fishing because of the litter problem. Everywhere I fish has someone else's litter on it.
  22. I really don't know why you guys are so surprised. The DNR has backed this the whole time. High wind warnings tommorow, I still plan on wetting a line or two. It's the last OPENING DAY!!
