  1. I was wondering what colors do you recommend for certain water clarity?
  2. I find out that many types of lures catch more bass once they are teared up.
  3. I'm getting into crankbait fishing and i need to know when to use a lipless crank rather than a regular crank. What time of the year is the best, what kind of conditions, where to fish, how to fish. Everything i need to know.
  4. Soft Plastic: Yum and Berkley Hard Baits: Rapala Jigs: Outkast Spinners: Booyah Frogs: Livetarget but for the price Booyah Line: Power Pro Rod: Fenwick Reels: Pflueger but i am getting a lew's
  5. Happens to me all the time, but oh well they work. So you can't argue with that.
  6. Havoc sick fish looks sick and im looking forward to the rapala bx series
  7. Dean Rojas throws frogs everywhere not just in lily pads but under laydowns and in open water pretty much anywhere. I notice you have better hooks up fishing a frog in open water. And yes there are lily pads in the midwest.
  8. i would use a small weight on the juice worm because the havoc line take forever to sink. Maybe a 1/16 or a 1/8 depending on how fast you want it to sink. I would also try a spinnerbait and fish it along the weed edge. If there is a weed edge where you fish. Throw a fluke or a jig near and around the fallen trees and let it sink to the bottom and maybe work the fluke as a spook on top. You might lose some jigs but it is just an idea. Hope this helps
  9. The main lake i fish at is really slow, but today i went to a different lake and me and my dad caught 15 bass in just 2 hours.
  10. Since i started using braid i only lost two hardbaits to muskie, but i go through soft plastics like theres no tomorrow.
  11. They make both the black and blue with the silver blade and the one with the black blade check there website.
  12. Great video i learned a lot, i have a question what other jigs do you do the reel hook set?
  13. Lake Fork Trophy Live magic shad in the bluegill color.
  14. Dinger all the way, i prefer the action if rigged right the head and tail move back and forth on a weightless Texas. It is way more durable i have caught 30 in pike on a dinger and i could still use it. While the senko would tear after 1 dink. I mean really why would you pay more for something you can only caught 1-2 fish on? It is a better bang for your buck. Senko are good don't get me wrong but it is to expensive. If you get more out of a pack and if was less expensive i would buy them more. But for now i'm sticking with my good old dingers.
  15. One last tip, don't use to big of a bait, because you don't want it to over power the blade. So maybe play around with different sizes and types of bait.
  16. They look great i may have to pick some up.
  17. try using a fluke instead so it won't sink to fast.Oh by the way the grubs that they come with are called "power minnow grub"
  18. i'll cast it and right away i start to reel once it hits the water does that help???????
  19. 10 lb fireline it is an all around good line you can catch little fish all the way up to some what big fish. Good luck.
  20. I have a 7' 4" MH Abu Garcia Vendetta it a cheap rod, only about 79.99. If money is not an option i would get a better frog rod like the powell Frog & Toad rod.
  21. You can fish it in all water clarities. In clear water it can act like a perch, many time in clear water bluegills have a tint of chartreuse in their fin. In stained the fish can see it which is keys. So maybe thats why.
  22. They also have amazing topwater action to, you can never fish it wrong.
