  1. Since I'm going to be getting to as many other lakes and rivers as I can across our great state, maybe you would be kind enough to let me know your lake or river, and what colors are working for you, Im in the Pine Bluff area and typically fish the Arkansas river.
  2. I'm up to my eyeballs in hard baits, spinner baits, buzz baits, stick baits and diving cranks. I've never had any luck fishing with plastics, so Im sure Im just not doing it right. As much mention as they are getting, RAGETAIL seems to be a good choice. I've heard what the Pros have to say, but... those guys get paid to promote things. I wanna hear what Joe Sixpack has to say, tell me your experiences with Ragetails, good, bad, or ugly, I just wanna know whats really the bottom line. Thanks for reading and answering.
  3. All these guys have made admirable mentions, I am surprised though that no one has mentioned what I think is the most versatile bait on the water, the Spinner bait... You can buy all that the stores and pros have to offer, and there are still hundreds.. if not thousands of variations that you can make to make the next bait equally as novel as the one before. This bait, is limited only by your imagination and drive to explore.
  4. When you're talking about something that is so expansively experimental, like a spinner bait, IS there such a thing as having ... Enough? I go thru a constant stream of different weights, hook sizes and shapes, trailers, skirt colors, shapes and texture combinations as well as inumerable blade shapes, sizes, and color combnations.. I guess there are 20-30 in my box at any given time. I guess I forgot to mention the use of different diameter wires, the numbers of blades and use of beads. I seriously believe this bait is limited only by ones imagination, and drive to experiment. I've gone past buying them, I buy the parts and build the ones that I don't see in stores... And, my hunger for the next never ceases. I'm glad that this is a healthy addiction!
