  6. X2
  7. I have had 3 kvd 1.5 bust up way to fast all 3 the lip broke bouncing off of lay downs... Never had a problem with Any of my other square bills
  8. Sounds like a yum money minnow I know they have a 2 layer hollow body and someone probably put it on a jig head they come in 3.5 , 5 , 6 inch I believe
  9. I have a mess of square bills too : / like around 150-160 ish a lot of them are the same but I get em hung up and sometimes I'm too lazy to play fetch so I buy a lot I em
  10. Thanks to everyone for the replys!!! I got a mess o swim jogs otw from all terrain and went and got a few more of the kvd models and rage tail grubs to match them all I will keep you guys posted on what I'm having luck with. Thanks again everyone!
  11. Awesome thanks guys gonna give the xps a shot next I think if they ever have it in stock : P, and the problems I had with most of them were memory and poor abrasion resistance I just snapped off 2 fish Saturday on the red label in open water one was at the knot ( probably my fault ) and the other was about 5 feet from The rod tip with about 30 yards of line out doubt I had a nic way up there but I guess you never know. Ty guys for the advice
  12. Haha just started using em a few days ago and I've had fair success so far got 4 of the kvd swim jigs but just using Berkley 3 inch grubs from years ago lol, gonna have to get some rage tails I sounds like you guys all seem to love them. And where can I get all terrain ? Tackle warehouse ?
  13. What are everyone's favorite trailers for swim jigs and favorite swim jig manufacturers
  14. I have been looking for an easy handling high abrasion resistant line between 15-20#. I have tried Berkley 100%. Seaguar red label. And stren flouro. All were disappointing for me any other suggestions ? And thoughts on viscious line
  15. For the gama weedless hook I use a 1/0
  16. Vinny chase is dead on, I always have 2 jigs tied on black and blue with a black chunk trailer, and a watermelon candy with a crawfish trailer on 5/16 - 3/8 usually unless power fishing post spawn I will switch to 1/2 oz another tip that has helped me is using 15-20 lb flouro instead of braid, not sure which your using.
  17. Straight tail roboworms 6 inch Strike king 3x finesse worm 6 inch
  18. Everyone nailed it senkos are one of te the top producing lures in any water and yamamotos are very expensive but imho they work the best. And i wouldn't mess too much with crankbaits unless you have some sort of cover to work them in or you have a hard bottom for deep divers to grind. Open water cranking will not attract many strikes. With the shaky worms working them on a shakey head jig will get you bit in pretty much any water as well, tight lines man
  19. Senkos in grn pumpkin, junebug, and cream black flake, 4" Assortment of shallow crankbaits mostly natural colors and a few chartreuse Roboworms, zoom trick worms, strike king 3x finesse worms, sticking with natural colors again, Jelly worms in grape color, And for terminal tackle 3/0,4/0 ewg hooks, weedless wacky hooks, shakeyheads and some bullet weights, and things for a Carolina rig. And probably a few buzzbaits and spinners.
  20. I haven't missed many fish with the gama hooks but it is very possible the ones that do shake it fast or pull out are from that guard getting stuck
  21. I have been using these hooks in 1/0 size for about 2 week now and I missed a few in the beginning but like j francho said just a reel set or easy sweep set works a lot better than a hard hook set. Sweeping really increased my hook ups and helped land the hook into more solid parts of the lip
  22. I like to pull the skirts off and put hollow body swimbaits on have had a lot of luck like that
