  1. Water tempurature in my area is between 45 and 50 f right now. I was wondering what tackle you all were having success with right now and where/how you were fishing it.
  2. I love my soft plastics!! Mainly a zoom trick worm. Made me think what kind of baits are your favorites?
  3. I tend to use soft plastics (mostly worms). I shy away from crank baits and spinner baits. i only really fish one pond and its rather small. What baits do yall use and why do you like them?
  4. I am starting to pour my own plastics. Does anybody else do this and is it more cost effective to hand pour or just buy new baits all the time. what brands do you use for molds, plastics, gliter etc??
  5. It seems to me that the ponds i fish in the bass are biting more on soft plastics that on any type of cranks or buzzbaits. They also dont seem to bite during the mid day and the bite gets better as the day goes on. I was wondering if anybody else is seeing the same sort of thing? Responses appreciated!!

  12. I fish in a small pond, and would consider myself an mid level fishermen, I catch an ok amount of fish and they are an ok size maybe 1.5-3 lbs. I was wondering if there is a way to catch more and bigger fish. I tend to use a soft plastic curly tail worm texas rigged. Also i live in Garner NC i was wondering If any of yall know a good place to fish around here i dont have a boat seeing as im only 16 but i cant drive. Thanks
  13. I was wondering what part of NC you live in... I live in the garner area southeast of raleigh... I fish in a tiny pond maybe 25x50 yards it produces sunfish bluegill crappie bass catfish and at least 2 50lbs carp... all the fish are good sized i have caught a 8lb bass and multiple 3 and 2 lb bass... i think it is easier to fish in the pond than a lake but i know where to find the fish in the pond going to a lake blind would be much harder!
  14. i think that if you are already using a lighter line like you are you may just want to use a spinning reel... i have an abu garcia cardinal 400i and it works great up to 14lbs test i use a 12lb braid
