We have 2 days to celebrate the departed: Nov 1st.- Día de Muertos ( Day of the Dead ) Nov 2nd.- Santos Difuntos ( All Souls ) We do not celebrate Halloween since it's a pagan festivity and most of Mexico's population is Catholic. However because of vecinity with the US some of the elements of Halloween celebration have melted into the celebrations of Día de Muertos, like trick or treating, but kids don't trick or treat on Halloween ( Oct 31st ), they do it on Nov 1st.

There is no such thing as "ideal" IPT for lipless cranks, unlike lipped cranks, specially deep divers, lipless cranks don't roll on it's side when reeled in at high speeds so you can reel them.in as fast as you can with a super high speed reel or go the other way around, slow rolling them at arthritic snail pace, since there is a bunch of techniques on how to work a lipless crank you can use any reel you want. Reeling in them steadily is just one of those ways.

Well, down here Halloween is like summer but with pumpkins. The only thing is that it's been crazy windy all day long so ...... wind is only moving the friggin hot air !

Instead of tying a d-shot rig using the main line tie a separate D-shot rig and connect using a swivel. When you're done just cut the line above the swivel and wrap your d-shot to a styrofoam piece.

All my rods had foregrip until I purchased a couple of Kistler Magnesium TS rods, I didn't like nor the look, nor the feel nor the balance of them, I prefer my rods with foregrip.

Can you reel in a crankbait with that reel without trying to "slow down" ? Yes you can but ...... it depends on the crankbait. Can you reel in a deep/xdeep diver with that reel ? Good luck trying to slow down or good luck if the crank can be reeled in, most deep divers won't stand being pulled with that reel no matter how much you try to slow down, they just roll on their side and won't run true. So what kind of cranks can be reeled in ? Lipless cranks, many of the wake baits, lots of super shallow and shallow runners can take being reeled at high speeds and still run true but you'll have to experiment. Reels with those high gear ratios are not new, I got a Daiwa that fast, PT33SH 7.3:1, 31" IPT that must be some 25 years old that I purchased with that function in mind, to burn spinnerbaits and cranks.

Berkley Lightning Rod LR15 and 16, MH, 5'6" casting, I still have them after more than 2 decades, have been "relegated" by other rods, in theory better, however, when it comes to drop a bait in an impossible place they do the trick so I always carry at least one with me.

Passed through a similar situation about 10 years ago, woke up like with my brain in the air riding on a roller coaster. Because my family has a history of heart related issues and deaths I went to the cardiologist, he ordered several tests and took an electrocardiogram, he discovered that I had a blockage in the electrical system of the heart ( now I know why I was never good at sports, the friggin pump don't work well when needed ) and that the vertigo was caused by abnormally high cholesterol levels. Prescribed a bunch of pills and the problem was solved in a week, unfortunately he put me on a low saturated fat diet for life, crap .... I love bacon and salami, lean meat has no taste.

- Change the original hooks since they are TRASH ! - Unscrew the hook hanger, put a drop of 5 min epoxy glue in the hole and screw them back in - Place split rings on the hook hanger to attach your hooks - Modify the lip by bending the hook eye a little bit up.
