I don 't agree with that, it is worth the money but not everything Megabass makes is worth spending the money in it for bass fishing.
I fell in love with the Griffon the moment I saw it on-line, oh man I drooled over that bait for a couple of years, then finally I got 4 of them, so the package arrived and I opened it in a hurry ( oh well, you guys know what I mean ) and felt dissapointed when I finally saw the bait in the flesh :'(, crap, it 's beatiful, the level of detail is incredible but...... too danged small ! :-[, I was expecting something about the size of a Wiggle Wart size 5 ( 2" ) and this itsy bitsy bait is far from being that size, not only it 's smaller in length but in overall size. I 'm not going to say it doesn 't catch fish, it catches truckloads of them only catch is that it catches truckloads of dinks ( 6-10 inches ).
The Margay Stepcat is another bait not for bass fishing, same problem, too small. The Type X ( the frog ) is a really cool looking bait, good size, catches many fish but you get the same results with the Rebel Wee Frog, of course the Wee Frog is a lot cheaper and it 's not as cool looking. I 'm not sure if I will ever spend more money in purchasing a VibX, got a couple and I don 't see much difference in catch ratio compared to other lipless cranks, the only special thing about them is the paint job.
The Cyclone, DeepX 100, Deep X 200, Bait X Concept, Pop Max, Flap Slap, Vision 110 and many other baits sure are woth the dough.
